Hey, I'm thinking about starting a new canadian paintball site.. What would you people like to see on a site if i get one going?

Have things that other web sites dont have. And if you charge lower prices than everyone else, You would be cornering the market by everyone going 2 your site instead of other peoples.

You know you're gonna have to pay for webhosting, webspace and crap like that. Plus you'll have to use HTML or whatever to program your site. Don't bother, Canadianpaintball & PballCanada are good enough.

Naa HTML isn't difficult you just have to learn the basics and then go from there.

Many people can be self tought it just takes time. So id say if you wanna make a website do it. DONT ASK PEOPLE.

I mean if you do a site and it kicks BUTT then thats great if not at least you have the answer to your question.

All i know is yes it takes alot of time. from my experince and im sure "Andrew" and others can say Just be patient. But also dont expect to make a STELLAR SITE first try. PRACTICE AND EXPERINCE IS THE KEY.

thanx for the help, your site was pretty nice! but i know that.... i've made lots of sites.... i'm not that good... but i have help from 2 people.. one a graphics, flash, c, c++ and visual basic specialist.. and another a web designer who gets paid for his work... We're almost done the main logo... I was thinking of

We differnlty need to check out more tournaments (WE NEED PICS BAD)hehehe.. will have some soon up for sure. We are just entering the speedball scene. So will have some content.

As for getting paid for web design work. Just becasues a guy gets paid in web or design doesnt nessarylr mean hes good or great. Im in the graphic design and web field "i get PAID" But i also see alot of crap! ALOT of Crap!. I see alot of people try yo pass them selves as a WEBMASTER or NEW MEDIA ARTS. but they dont have skillz, TITLE is not everything its the work that shines.!
im sure your site Will kick *** is you have a guy in Computer scince helping you out. As for FLash (will see)... what do i mean by that? Lets say ive seen too much BUNK! flash to last me 5 lifetimes. My work that i do isnt nessarly "THE S***"... i no it inst Because the site up right now is an appetzier heheh.

Anyways enough of my blabbling Im sure if your boyz have skillz.
your site should be great. But remeber image is everything! so dont Mess up the first time, make sure you have solid material.
