i just got my lp kit from the blessed UPS man, and i installed it. that was the hardest thing to fit in my gun ever. theres a tiny little gap inbetween the reciever halves at the very top of the gun. the valve is too freakin big! :pissed: plus the hammer was rough as heck and scratched up my polished internals. i had to sand down the hammer to make it work right. plus i have a air america violator that didnt come with instructions on how to work it :( so now i have everything together but im clueless on how to adjust the reg. how do i oil it? i havent aired it up yet cause im afraid to ruin something. can someone please help??????? anyone have any similar problems with the fitting of the LP kit?

For the gap, don't worry about it. It happened with me and an lp kit. Just screw the powertube/valve on one more turn and it should fit perfectly fine.

if you mean those 2 screws on the side, then yea i have done that but i got it so tight that i thought that was enough. im afraid to go anyfuther cause i dont wanna strip it. maybe i should let tippmann know about it. last night before bed, i sanded down my internals and the powertubeto see if i can get a fit but it didnt work.

Yeah I was talking about the VA into the Valve :P It should be under warranty (if the LP kit comes with a warranty..does it?). Did you send your whole gun in? If so they'll definitely have it fixed for you.
