glued barrels?

i've been thinking of getting a dye ultralite and on some sites it has glued ones (im guessing that just makes it a one piece and cant get different backs) i was wondering if they would perfom the same an i just wouldn't be able to get different backs? they are less than half the price of a regular ultralite

Yeah, there's no huge difference in performance (if any at all). The glued is just the older style of the Dye line of barrels.

If you can get a glued UL for cheap, do it, they're great. Unless you can't get the bore size/ length you wanted, in that case you'd have to go for a new style Ultralite. Either way your gunna end up with a great barrel.

sweet, the glued ones are like $35 and the new ones are like $85

they only made the two piece for the two piece barrel hype and the new backs, but honostly, how many people buy more back. If you can get the Old style, do it. Same with the All American, awesome barrel when it was a glued barrel.
