Can some one tell me what makes the Boomstick the most hyped barrel on the planet?
I have ascertained the following:
1. The boomstick is a small paint barrel
2. The boomstick is manufactured under Dave Youngblood's "exacting" tolerances (whatever that means)
3. The boomstick is of two piece construction
4. The boomstick's front portion is made of aluminium to make it light
5. The boomstick's rear portion is made of steel to make it strong
So, what makes it an awesome barrel?
1. It is a small paint barrel
2. Dye actually engineers precision into their products
3. The boomy is a two piece barrel
If #1 where the answer, then it would stand to say that small paint barrels are better in general.
If #2 where the reason then it would be safe to say that all Dye barrels are probally as accurate as one another.
If #3 where the reason then it would be safe to say that all of the Dye two pieces are equally awesome except for weight and strength. The standard boomy being in the middle. The titanium boomy at the high end of the strength/low weight spectrum and the aluminum being near the low end of the durability spectrum, but lighter than the standard boomys.
The hype and the marketing confuse the issues.
Why is the boomstick such a great barrel and what makes it the best?
