I have this stuff called hoppes lubricating oil, high viscosity and penetration stuff. Ive never used it on my bko but its pretty dirty now and i was wondering if i could use it on any part of my bko, cept the bolt obviously. It says its for firearms, fishing reels and all mechanisms. It in as orange bottle if that helps...:|

I'd stay away from it, just get a can of white lithium greese from the auto store like everyone else...just to be safe

I wouldnt use that stuff dude if your manual doesnt have it listed as one of the types of oils that u can use then stay away from it because it might reck or damge the part u want to oil.

i wouldn't use it either, though ICD says that almost anything w/out petrolium products is ok. (ya, i know, that's what they told me but most white lithium grease has petrolium in it.)

I use this same oil in my tippmann 98 custom. So it is OK for non electro guns I would guess.

Do not use oil in our BKO. it will mess it up. Only use lithium grease.
