When I disconnect my remote I hear a strange hissing noise down the barrel, yet theres no air. It could be my cup seal ready to explode, but I'm not sure, can anyone explain why this occurs, it only happens when I disconnect, will this lead to a bigger problem? This started ever since I replaced the x-chamber on my Shutter to an STO Ergo reg, and I also have a Boo Yah trigger frame on it too.

When you disconnect your remote, does your gun keep "hissing," or just for a little bit?

Keep hissing for about 4-5 seconds after I disconnect, after I installed the reg, there were no leaks and the only part that was touched was the VA adapter when I screwed in the reg.

if its leaking down the barrel, then its a cup seal leak, go goet a new cup seal and tell me how it works

It doesnt keep on hissing, just for those 4-5 seconds then it's over...So could it be that the cup seal is slowly deteriorating?

its possible,u should have gotten an extra parts kit with your gun, which most liley had a cup seal in it, so replace it with the extra, if u dont have and extra, buy a lapco cup seal

There's no problem in that, actually... When you take the remote off, there isn't as much air stored behind the valve, so the valve pin is pushed in easier. Slowly the striker will push the valve pin in, and gas will bleed out the bolt. Your valve pin's probably just a lil' soft, but that's not considered to be a problem at all...

When I take my air tank off the O-ring in there shoots off and I have to put another one on, how do I stop this and why is it happening?, thanks for all the responses. :)

Ahhh.... The old ghost in the barrel. Someone did give the right answer already. You have extra preassure that is still being stored temporarily in the reg when you release the remote,When there is not enuff preasure to keep the cup seal closed, it slowly expells its excess preassure, hense the air coming out your barrel. It is perfecly normal, and dont worry about it... the first thing that i would do is turn off the remote, then dry fire the giun till the preassur is gone, the release the Quik-Disconnect on the remote. This WILL solve your problem for good.

Try not to "hijack" other peoples threads. If you have a problem make your own thread rather than posting this in here. I am guessing you are using co2? As you unscrew your tank shoot the gun a couple of times. This will help. But the co2 will wreck o-rings, which is one of the many reasons why hpa is better.
