do you suppose I can take an autococker vertical feed and attach it to a spyder xtra? The xtra has its vertical feed mounted on a plate that attaches to the body by two screws. maybe with some welding work I can cut off the old feed and weld the autococker one on? or does anybody know if somebody does this mod already? The autococker one looks sweet so i figured outside of getting a new body for the spyder maybe hot rodding it like this. I'm not too worried about the color as I'm going to have the body and the base of the feed repainted down the road anyways.

Doesnt that just seem like a waste of time and money to you? I mean, if you want to do it, and feel that you have the skills of welding and cutting and stuff, plus you are funded enuff to buy a cocker vert feed. I think that you should try it, cause i guess that you have nothing to loose, except for a nice cocker body, and possibly your spyder!
