Hi there. This is my first post on this website so I will make it sound up to your level, but remember I am new to this paintball thing.
I go to the local paintball field about 2 times a week. I normally use the rentals, but lately the rentals have been getting in worse and worse condition ( shooting curved, hopper falls off, gun jams lots). The field I go to is set up for air or Co2.
Now what I am asking is for the best gun, with the best quality that is going to last me for a while (3 years) and I need to get everything to make the gun work (except mask) for $300 or less. So if you want to help the new kid, please give me your response. I thank you all for your time in helping me out.

1) almost any major brand that isn't brass eagle or viewloader.
2) any markers with good paint and a good barrel and the paint matches the barrel will shoot equally accurately.
3) any marker (excluding a level 10 automag or marker with an anti chop eye) can chop. a motorized loader will reduce the risk of chopping.
4) get a marker with an electronic frame.
conclusion: electro spyder of your choice with a nice barrel of your choice and an evolution II hopper.
read the ultimate sticky in the kingman forum and the stickies in the barrel forum.

an E-99 (spyder) -$145
12 volt x-board revy-$50
20 oz. Co2 (pmi w/ on & off switch)-$40
condom for your barrel-$5
dye invision goggle-$65
total-$305 at www.paintballgear.com
my friend got the exact same stuff (EXACT) It is some nice stuff:tup:

I would change the e99 to imagine, a bit cheaper, practically the same, just different looks, and it has the push button frame. Don't get an on off valve for the co2, as you are uscrew the tank and it starts to hiss start shooting and unscrewing it, no orings broken. He also said he doesnt need googles. Get a barrel instead, a dye excel, lapco bigshot, JJ ceramic, or CP 1 Piece, all great barrels for under 50 bucks. Get a 12v revvy, and defiently buy a barrel sock.
