well i decided to get the impulse....i can order tonight everything but i neeed to decide on what colorscheme im going with

so heres what im thinkin about

Black IMpulse
Chrome Gas thru grip
Chrome D/F
Chrome CP barrel 10in,12in
Clear 12volt
Clear stickies


is that good?

Who's gettin the business? Local shop? Or Mail order?

The CP barrel may take a while. they don't have them out right now--and based on my talks with them, they may not be out for another month. (we have a bunch on back order)

Speaking honestly--the CP is NOT an upgraded barrel. Not a bad barrel-- but I don't honestly feel its an upgrade from the stock progressive. So what you are talking ablout is paying $40 (plus shipping) to change the LOOK but not th preformance. I would tanke that money, save a few dollrs more, and get a freak with the silver AA front. If you are buying the freak with the gun, that would only be a $100 upgrade.

I would go with the the Kapp chrome drop forward. Again if you are getting it with a gun the drop forward and vertical adaper will be around $35

I very much like the Shocktech drop forward which you can get in chrome.

you don't list a trigger-- this is a very important "upgrade" forthe gun. again, if you get it with your gun, you save the hassel of installing it (and having to take apart you nice neww gun!)

The gun, kapp, vert adapter, shocktech DF, and trigger would come out less then $500 (installed, setup, and tested) so you would paying around $550 with the revy. Then save a few more dollars and pick up a freak.

Hmmm sounds good...so the base black impy doesnt include a vert adapter? So' i'd have to get the vertical reg impulse for $450?

Do you have the Blade trigger in Chrome?

I can think it would look cool with crome/black color scheme
my P.O.S model 98 looks sweet with crome/black but the only problem is its a Model 98. I spent all my dam money into that P.O.S, well at least it looks sweet.

with the freak, there's a different color for each different bore size. so each bore size has it's own color.

you don't have to get the vert. reg on the impulse, but i and most people here like it better. that makes your gun smaller. But FOM was saying that if you get the bottomline impulse, you could get a nice shocktech d/f, new trigger, vertical adapter(for your gas thru grip), gun (of course), and kapp gas thru grip would all cost you about 500.

if you got the vertical reg setup, get either a kapp or w/s drop foward cradle for your tank (depending on if you use a screw in, armegedon, rapter type tank) and a new trigger. Overall that'd cost you around 550 with the gun. (much better setup-smaller)

(if you have a tank that srews onto a drop foward, and doesn't have holes like an armegeddon, just get a shocktech drop foward)
