Paintball PC Game?

OK, I think I pretty much speak out for all paintballer/PC gamers out there (I dunno how many that is, though). Why aren't there any good PB PC games? We need a game that would actually be addicting for paintballers. Now, I'm not trying to bash those other PB games, but, um, I think they can do better than that, right? I mean like, being able to make your own player on the PC to look just like you and make an online or offline team. Kind of like those other sport games where you can make teams and stuff. And you should also be able to buy equipment and stuff. That's just my opinion. What do you guys think?

BTW, please don't flame me if I made a mistake with the current PB PC games today because I haven't tried them(I tried installing one and it came up with half-a-million errors. :mad: ) .So all I know is what's on the cover box (and according to that and the pricing and the fact that no one buys the game and the horrible reviews, I'd say it's not exactly high-class).

Digital paintball is a really good mod for Half-Life. It's still kinda buggy but over all its really good.

You complain that there aren't any good paintball games...that's because noone wants to make one. If you want a good pc game then go learn how to code and make it yourself you stupid *** *** ***got ****.

Thats one of the worst games ive ever played. The paintballs go straight through the ppl. I think the Rollercoaster Tycoon makers are making paintball Tycoon.

Why not just play any normal FPS?

I guess a game with real paintball guns would be pretty cool, but FPS's are as close as your gonna get :p

I know the programmer of digital paintball. I like the mod. its decent. He and i talk alot on the #DPB and #GBADEV IRC chatrooms.

I envision a game. Of epic proportions. Using the MOHAA engine, we are set on a field with netting and crowds all around. You hear the rest of your team talking to themselves, making last second plans. You get the call. Ten seconds 'til the game starts. Go go go.

You make the rush and you hear paint whizzing by you as you scramble towards the first sup air bunker. I could go on for pages, but I don't want to bore you guys.

You know, you guys are gonna give programmers real hell. I mean all the technical moves:eek:, hectic team commands:nod: and all out paint splats will take a while to create. But I stick to my good old FPS games(Half Life; DF:Black Hawk Down).

OK, here's the concept. There is a surprising number of paintballers in the US. If a PC game is made for paintball, and it meets good standards, such as Medal of Honor-type graphics (as posted recently by Lt. A. Marshall) and nice gameplay, then it will be quite popular for paintballers because it deals with their interests, causing them to want to buy it, making the programming all worth the effort.

One more thing, please don't make the remark "Go learn how to code and make it yourself" because it is rude, irrational, and according to your age stated on your profile, you probably don't know a thing about programming, so don't make any smart remarks about it. :finger:

well i wouldn't even want to play computer paintball, because we can paintball in real life (although i did play paintbrawl, but thats only because they were giving them away at mendards) but thats why we play games like counter strike, halflife, warcraft ect... because its not like its gonna happen in our lives any time soon.
