Is the Z-body worth it? I want a wider selection of barrels for my gun...

From what I hear it is suprisingly comfortable. Hard to run-n-gun, but easy to shoot standing still. It does take some practice to aim the gun and not shoot the ground or bunkers.

Z-Body and Z-Grip are not the same thing.
The Z-Body lets you use Autococker thread barrels and puts back spin on the ball. I haven't tried it myself but I've heard that not every ball gets back spin and you have to take time to adjust it properly.

From what I've heard about them. it's difficult to get the adjustable backspin dialed in right.
Never actutally seen one in person to try thou :(

So what does the Z-Body actually do.. i have heard you guys talk about it makes the mag take autococker threaded barrels (wtf) and that it creates backspin inconsistantly..
..so why get one? What are more advantages? I haven't heard any that appeal to me..
How do you like yours Magadeth? How much are they, are they reall worth it?

ya the z body puts backspin on which increases distance on shots kind of like the flatline. but also like the flatline, alot of balls dont break at long distances. the z grip is very comfortable, ecspecially if you play back at a standup bunker.

How much is the z-BODY and why would you get it if its not consistant? (it looks kinda cool tho :) )

Go with a Micro if you want a better barrel selection. The z-body Is not very consistent in creating the backspin so some shots will have it and others will not. You will have increased range on some shots, but at the cost of consistent pinpoint accuracy.

I dont own one, but have fired one and talked to the owner. It had been relegated to backup status behind a gun that cost alot less.
Right now I have a minimag and a classic powerfeed. The classic is getting cleaned up and adjusted and will probably be for sale. I just picked it up today and the benchmark double trigger frame it came with had a hack trigger job on it.:pissed: So I'm fixing that before I do anything with it. /vent
