well the first thing that you might want to know is that this will not make you stock barrel shoot any better for you, dumb founded people. all this does is make your barrel look kewl or match you paintjob.
I am not responsible for you messing up your barrel, dont see how you could though, even if you did why would you care, its only the stock barrel!! YEA AND DONT SAND IN THE BARREL, SAND THE OUT SIDE. ALSO DONT SAND THE SCREW PART THAT SCREWS INTO THE GUN!!!
The first thing you want to do is go out and buy some sand paper and a sander if you can afford it (i already had one), some aluminum polish, and some fine fine steal wool. i suggest buying just an assorted pack of sand paper with 60, 120, 150, and 220 grit sand paper.
The paint already on the barrel is tough to get off by hand (almost impossible), thats why i would highly suggest you use a sander like a Black and Decker Mouse. If you dont have one i suggest not doing this, unless you have great arm endurance and A LOT of time on your hand. If your doing it by hand i suggest using the 60 grit, and then working your way down the line (using 60 then 120, then 150, then 220). then when you have all the black paint off you use the fine fine steal wool to get out any weird spots you have and any pits.
If you have a sander use a grit of paper that is equal to 150, and sand all the paint off. Then take the fine fine steal wool and get any imperfections out. then take aluminum polish to get it nice and shiny. and thats just about it. If you have any questions and if i left out any thing ill post.
