Well the BEST out of the box is the G3 Pro Ts
-regulator
-drop forward
-turbo valve
-drilled VA with gauge
-RAM air chamber
-decent stock barrel
-alluminum trigger frame
-splash/fade anno job
BUT you can do much better by buying a VTL with all that stuff, but of higher quality, and modding a few things.
One question, if price doesnt matter, why not buy a higher end gun?

i say Pro TS and Pro EXT is about the same, 1 you get a aluminum frame but the other you get flush cocking which i perfer.

Don't buy a Pro Ts or an EXT PRO. Neither are worth it.
Buy a vertical feed VTL. They come in 3 colors too. Trust me, you will have a much better gun in the end.
Check out the Piranha Faq for some more info.

Reg? You can get way better. Drop? You can also get better... Stainless hose? I'd rather have macro. I think VTL Piranhas have Ram Air, and if not, it's no big loss. From what I hear, they're really picky when it comes to maintaining it. With the turbo valve, I'd rather get a Taso. I own a PMI turbo valve myself, and looking at mine, then at the Tasos, I think the Taso ones are higher flowing... Plus VTL Piranhas are cheap, so then you got money to upgrade with better things. :D

Whew...here we go.
VTL 90 bucks
Gladiator 75 bucks
G3 "long" drop 20 bucks
cp one piece barrel 35 bucks
turbo valve 20 bucks
Thats STILL 20 bucks cheaper than a PRO TS. And will perform wayyyyyyy better.
Get YOUR story straight.

stainless steel braided hose $20,same price, oh ya taht pro ts paint job is worth over a $100 if you want to count that, also ram aim chamber, guage, dont forget the aluminum frame which is $60-80, velocity thumb adjust.

Well, composite frames aren't bad, I was runnin' with the Compact 2000 frame for a while, a long while. :) They work fine, and if it gets scratched, it's harder to notice than if the anodize on your frame gets scratched. Are steel braided hoses really that expensive? Over here it's $10 for whatever length, and not only that, but the rest of the products are all overpriced... Overall, I still say stick with performance first. I'd rather have a Gladiator/Sidewinder/Stabalizer than a PMI regulator. The drop forward's not bad (Many drop forwards move the tank as far as the one PMI gives you...), but as PiranhaPro has shown, with a drop forward that moves your tank forward further, it's still cheaper. And I'm sure the CP, with a proper paint match, will shoot more accurately than the stock PMI barrel, with a proper paint match. :)

Stainless hose is 6 dollars, I dont know where you got 20...
A cheap anno job that does nothing.
A cheap "Ram Air" that does nothing.
A gauge that does nothing.
An aluminum frame that does nothing. They're nice, however a composite frame works just as well.
And a thumb adjuster that does nothing. You STILL need to use an allen wrench on it, a very tiny allen wrench, which can be lost very easily, as well as the set screw that can be lost very easily.
Again, the VTL is by far the best choice.

Go with what piranhapro said. You would be much better off Getting a VTL and upgrading it to how much the pro ts is worth.

Yeah...Man piranhapro Im havin a hella hard time getin the screw mesured right with my fish. I think the comp frame for piranhas are BETTER they have less side to side play and are lighter. I would rather have aluminum but stock the plastic ones are better. Do yourself a favor go to a store that has all the parts piranha pro listed and buy them all at once and save 20 bucks and get a awsome gun.

hhmmm well he said money wasn't a problem and the Pro-E is electronic so......but if money isn't a problem, you could get a Pro TS G3 and have a turbo valve that wouldn't need replacing and the good t-frame, and i think flush cocking but i'm not sure, and then get a freak, shocktech bolt, some good nitro setup with max-flo or something. If money isn't and issue, get a higher end gun.

They dont have less side to side play.
They are lighter, but you cant tell once the gun is loaded up with air and paint.
Aluminum is might stonger, thats why I like it. I mount a heavy tank on it.

They dont have more side to side play, trust me.
Better springs? PMI uses the same springs in all their guns.

hmm. Well yer prolly right about lightness. But im almost sure about side side play. I wish an aftermarket company made one. I love the diamond labs one its soo small pull. Too bad just for spyders.
