The TL+ is a great gun, and i am sure that you will be happy with what ever decision that you make. Others you might like would be the spyder xtra or the spyder shutter, or the spyder SE. Remember, what ever you get, you will proably be upgrading, so just follow your gut feeling.;)

What effect does a spring kit do?

Stiffer springs raise your velocity, weaker ones lower the velocity.

A spring kit is good incase you play alot of different fields. I had my gun running 280fps for rec, then I played a tourney with a limit of 260fps. The velocity adjuster didn't do much (had to back it all the way) so I changed the springs. It worked MUCH better and saved my *ss from hot gun penalties.

Get a spring kit if you play in different areas. It's 100% proven to save yo *ss.
