striker o rings?

i have a spyder one. When i screw in my air tank, i have air coming out of my barrel. I think my striker o ring is broke. Will this o ring cause my air to leak out? Please advise...Also what is the purpose of the striker o ring?

air leaking out of your barrel? that sound like you have a bad cup seal. try cocking your gun with it gassed up. does it still leak?

if its not the cup seal its probably a valve o-ring.

i agree i have the same problem when i put my cup seal from my se into my tl it stoped..... with very close inspection i saw that there was a very small scratch on the cup seal.. any way thats what did it
