i was adjusting my dwell today and all of a sudden the little white box came loose on the board which is the stock semi only board. anyway, from then on the light would keep changing from red to orange randomly and it would not operate. so i then opened the gun up and i was wiggling the dwell on the circuit board and found that this is what changed the light color. if i press it down it stays green if i move it to the side it blinks orange. anyway i ordered the genesis-at board from wermmods and was just wondering if the board comes with a new dwell on it , as this seems to be my problem. i didnt want to just replace the dwell cuz i wanted the genesis board anyway, so please tell me if the genesis board comes with the little white box known as the dwell thanx ssssssoooooooooo much guys

uhhh, i think you had the dwell too high or too low. i was reading through the online owners manual and it said that if you set it too high or low the light will flash.

well i think my dwell broke cause, well it kinda just fell off. so i ordered the genesis board from wermmods and i read a manuel on it sayin that all fire modes and the dwell are adjusted and set by the trigger. so i wont have to worry about a small flathead and fine tuning with the dwell, the board comes set at 10bps which is not bad so i hope ill be happy with my genesis board when i get it . it comes with adjustable burst mode , turbo, sniper, auto response, full auto, and true semi mode.

Hey Fire, I'd still get the dwell fixed! After ya get Werm's in and your in business again, I'd take the board back to where ya bought the marker from (if it's a local shop) and see if Smart Parts will hook ya up, There may come a time that you'll want to go back to using the dwell (stock) and need to have it working!

i will do that , but is it absolutely neccessary? also my gun is under warranty so the board is covered anyway, u think they will send me a new one or just fix the dwell? cuz i dont want it happenin again. and i know the stock board is semi only but the genesis i ordered has semi only lock for tourneys and trus semi mode so it is the same as my old board plus more, but i will get it fixed just incase there is any problems with my new board. ok thanx a lot talk to ya all later folks

If you're covered under the warranty why not? Ya never know when or if something could go wrong with the new one, and you might be glad ya got a backup of some sort!

The Genessis board is realy coll because you can do all the adjustment from the trigger. When you first turn it on, you hold in the trigger to tell it you wnat to set something. Then you click the trigger to to tell it what you wnat ot programe, and finaly you tell it the valve to set.

My total favorite mode is the reflex mode. in this mode the gun fires when you pull and fires again whem you relese. (2 shots for every trigger pull!) this mode is a BALL as an example of how you would set it...

with the gun off, pull and hold the trigger. turn the gun on. relese the trigger, the board will "blink: at you. pull the trigger one time (to tell it you want to set a trigger mode) The gun will blink at you. Pull the trigger 3 times to tell it you what "reflex mode-- now when you pull, it will fire, when you relese it will fire.

to reset--just turn off the gun.

While I doubt you will be playing nationl tourments anytime soon, it will be a great Idea to send the old board back to Smart Parts, they will replace the board for free. If you every play NPPL , you can just put the stock board back in and play!. Also if you ever need to send the gun in to Smart Parts, swap out the board (put the stock one back in).

As far as install ing the board, it is not realy hard, but there are a couple of places you you may have a problem. first is is not uncommon to have the little "tabs" from when they make the board still on the board. this may prevent you for getting the board to fit right. NO PROBLEM. take a nail file and file the littel tit off the side of the board.

The other problem you may have is the switch. first make sure that wney you mount the board, get it as close to the switch side as plssible. if you have problemes getting the gun to turn on and off, you may have to file the slot on the on/off switch a little deeper.

Hope this helps
