I just got my new Sidewinder and went out to give it a try. I gassed it up and there was a leak around the LPR so I screwed it in and it was fine, I took like 10 shots and went inside. My tank went down 1000psi from that.... Any ideas?

You've got a small family of pixies living it your fill adapter. That happened to me once, I mean, pixies aren't all the bad, just very mischeivous so I had to kill them all and put their heads on toothpics as a warning not to mess with my nitro...
and by that I mean you need to re-adjust your regs it sounds like... :)

Damn Pixies...
I have my HPR set at 220 and my LPR a half turn out from leak.
When my gun isn't gassed my gauge sits at like 75psi...
Is this normal or should I compensate for this when setting my HPR?
