View Full Version : The average player will suffer a Paintball injury about once every 500 years...
atleast according to the idiots at APG.
Here's the Article http://www.actionpursuitgames.com/articles/hs0307rel.html
It doesn't seem overly wrong. However, the articles hard to follow, and the charts don't even list Paintball... Morons
Oh well... Helps us prove the public wrong.

That's because we're not in the top 25 for most injuries. That's a good thing. We don't want to be on those lists.

hell, i wont let my dad golf anymore... golfing more dangerous than paintball :sulk: :paranoid:
Yes, I know why where not on the lists. But the thing is, why bother post the list, if it doesn't list us? I mean, we already know what the most dangerous sports are. And in the writing it told us what the paintball statisics were, along with the top 3 dangerous sports. So why bother putting up the list. Just seems like fluf to me. Oh well, I'll shut up now before I make a fool of myself.

golf... the only injuries i can think of are if i were on the courses. i'd take my club and start hitting people, then id ride my golfcart into the lake. or id just stay in a tree and throw golf balls at people right as theyre about to swing.

my friend hit me in the head with a golf ball, and I passed out or something, right there on the course, it sucked.
Ya, I don't see how you could get injured soley by a paintball marker in the sport, if you wear your mask and protective gear, and you get hit, whoopdeedoo, they must not count a welt as an injury. yay:crazy:

just because your nto doing something rough and physical doesn't mean you cant get injured
Golf - dislocated shoulder, pulled muscles, hit with golf balls, hit with a club(standing to close)
Paintball - Twisted or sprained ankle, broken wrists or arms because you tried to pull a superman...also the few eyeball shots from *******'s taking off their masks
The sad thing is my worst injury was while playing golf...I got hit in the head with a putter..right on my eyebrow so blood was just pouring and running down my face..it was great
Also one other thing
usually old people who can hurt themselves really easily play golf where as young people go mountain biking

I didn't say that. I didn't even come close to saying that. Mountain biking involves much more physical activity than golf, thats why i thought it was odd that peole were more injured in the less physical one.
I worked at a golf course for a season, not once did anyone get hurt at all.

it could have something to do with old people playing golf..and they're far more suceptible to injury than a 13 year old, or how people define injury..if my legs are sore after a day of playing paintball, I don't consider that an injury
