Ok this is so stupid i dont know why hes even playing paintball.

I was going to a tourny and i had to find a 3rd person cause my bro didnt have any money.And it was hard *** hell to find a 3rd person so i finally find one,and i call my team mate back and was like ok dude get packed for tomorrow were playing.And hes like no dude i cant , i dont want to.And lets just say i talked to him for 2o min and i was trying to get him to play .Then i called the 3rd player up and he said he needed a ride and was like oh damnit.My dad was already mad cause he ad to get up at 6 30 to drive there and i know he didnt want to drive 20 25 min to pick him up.So were not playing now.But the thing is that pissed me off is that i had to practically get on my knees and beg him to play in the tourny.And it ticks me off sooo much.This is not the first time hes done that to me either.One time in the middle of a tourny he said he didnt wanna play anymore,so he packed up and put everything away.So the next thing you hear is team reaction and so and so.So im like RYAN GET YOUR STUFF OUT!Hes like god man i dont even wanna play anymore,this sucks!And he loves paintball though.But hes just a little *****.Now that was a long story VERY short.It took me 3 or 4 days to find a 3rd player.

that does suck, kinda reminds me of making a band, you gotta find the right mix of people, who are dedicated to their hobby, and sticks to it when they start something. I'd help ya out, but, ya know, I live in the boonies of Kansas, I have no say out here:P

Thanks guys.I wish i had some team mates as dedicated as me and you guys.I didnt tell you this in my 1st post my bro could have played but he had the money but didnt wanna spend it and he didnt wanna go either.Thing is i dont have any one around here as dedicated as me.A friend suggested i go around to fields and pick up players there,I think ill do that.

Your first mistake was choosing teammates who are too lazy to get up and play. Here's how it should have gone:

The night before the tourny, everybody should have slept over at one of the team members' house. Everyone should have brought their gear as well. You guys should have cleaned it, tested it in the backyard to make sure it was working, and then packed it securely in a gearbag or box. After that you should have gone to bed earlier than normal so that you had energy for the tourny. Then, you should have REchecked your gear in the morning, made sure you had all the tools you would need, PLENTY of teflon tape, etc. After eating a good breakfast, you would have been set.

Thanks for that post ballerX but its not the problem of getting ready and stuff.Its just that my team mates are to lazy and dont wanna spend money.I didnt know my bro was going to do this,Thats was his 1st time he did that.And ryan is the only other DECENT player i can find.I had no clue in the world he would do this.I gave them a week notice before the tourny.My bro kept saying every day "Its ok ill make money tomorrow"Then come day before the tourny he has only the money in his atm little thing card,and he dsoent wanna spend it cause hes saving for a crouch rocket.I even stooped as low as to find a player i DISLIKED and wanted to play with him cause i knew it was the only way i could play in that tourny.And he couldnt get a ride and told me at the last minute.You guys dont realize how long it took me to find this 3rd player.:laugh:

I know it's hard to stomach, but you need to abandon your team and start over. Sometimes teams work better when no one starts as friends--in this case, it sounds like you started with family AND friends. I can't imagine a worse combination; any animosity off the field will be magnified on the field.

My suggestion: shop are your local fields for teams that might want another player. Only then, if you can't find an existing team to join, would I try to start again. Tell your friend/brother on your current team that their level of interest is obviously less than yours and its time you moved on to a more serious team.

Yea, my first team wasnt dedicated at all, the new guys i got are pretty dedicated to it. And im going to say we all get along quite well.
