I was looking for cool replica paintball guns I could really use to get some style. I stumbled across the extreme sports paintball ones and I was wandering if it was worth $387.00 price tag because all it is , is a spyder with the replica parts:pissed:

Can you please post the site? I went to extremesports.com and didn't see anything related to paintball

Thanks

BTW if you want to see some really cool replica paintball guns (they are expensive tho), go to rustyspaintballgear.com and look in the custom items section

I dont think they're worth the money. They resemble real guns also.

If you're really into the replica gun thing you might want to try airsoft instead of paint ball.
Airsoft replicas are pretty cheap (a lot cheap than those modified spyders)
Also most paintballers try to avoid making their markers look like "the real thing" because of all the bad press it can generate.

yeah, airsoft is a little more fun than paintballing, actually. but then it's WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY expensive if you wanna get a GOOD gun for it and there aren't many games.

The whole "they look like real guns" thing is a waste of time and effort. I know the people who are against paintball because they are also anti gun. They don't care what the guns look like. I say again they don't care, to them a gun is a gun and a gun is evil. They want nerf guns banned as well and they look nothing like real guns and only fire half the time anyway. As far as bad press goes bad press for paintball is caused by 1) players commiting vandalism 2)players commiting other crimes (ie drive bys etc.) 3) players not using proper saftey procedures 4)players with poor aditudes and foul language 5) people who are misguided and ill informed 6)anti gun advocates

Anybody notice a running theme it is we the players who cause bad press and people with agendas not the clothes we wear or the guns we use. oops markers.

Btw I don't think they are worth the money after all it is the hit that counts not what the gun launching the ball looks like.

They look cool. But all that counts is how good you play, not how good your marker looks, or how fast your marker shoots, it is how good you play.

One time at the local field a advanced player used a Talon on his team, and on the other was a newbie with an Automag. Of course everybody thought that the team, with the newbie that had the Automag, was gonna win. The whole game was dominated by the team with the advanced player, with a Talon.

That goes to show that it is how good you play. Not how fast your marker can shoot, or how good your marker looks.

hmm well it dose have a psycological factor if they think your marker kicks they will be intimidated and think that you are kci ketc and play worse
