Are you running co2 or Nitro?
For nitro, AKA Sidewinder is the best. However, a vigilante is a good one, and is cheap.
For co2, Palmer stabilizer or a gladiator with co2 orings is the way to go.
They are fairly expensive, but perform great.
The vigy can be found at countypaintball.com
the other 3 can be found at g3pb.com

leave it man. its a decent reg dont really need a new one. i've got that reg to only have a 3fps jump on co2. heck they use those regs on alot of auto cockers and they love them. works well on n2 too.

keep the pure energy reg. they work fine on blowbacks.

Curious....
How does the method of cocking on a gun determine which reg would be good and which wouldnt?

at a pressure of 600 psi (most blowbacks) the quality of the reg wont really matter, unless its really crappy, and the p/e regs are about average. with my piranha i get +/- 2 fps average running a p/e reg and a crossfire 68 stub. it also keeps up with my 8+ bps ROF fine.
