Hey all, my friend is looking at buying a pre-release impulse locally and I had a couple of questions.
First, it's stock (including maxflo) except for an ND titanium ramshaft. It's being sold for $350 canadian ($250 USD), is it a good deal? Due to it taking cut down shocker barrels my friend might just buy a stock impulse body from Smart Parts.. anything wrong with doing that?
If he keeps the pre-release body, besides feeds and barrels, is there any upgrade which would not work?
How much could he get a new body for?
Thanks, he appreciates this.

$350 is a ripoff. Get a brand new updated one for $50 more.

Thanks. Also, he's getting his co2 tank anti-siphoned, but in the mean time can he use un-anti-siphoned co2, or is it not even a possibility?

Alright, thanks.
Also, I know I forgot to read the stickies, where the co2 question was addressed, so there's no need for anyone to lecture me about it :)

hey man. I actually had this problem once upon a time.. but i bought mine... for $280 so.. If the gun is in fairly goo d condition and shoots well go for it. But like you said tell him to get another body via smartparts... best thing i ever did. it will accept the normal IMP barrels and you can do anything you want to it.. plus its already vision ready :D but as far as the old body goes. you can do MOST things to it that you can a new one.. i put an I-frame on mine w/ a ND'z VFF and Delrin bolt.. didnt have any trouble.. but either way i would recommend another body jus for the fact that it will be better in the long run... if you have any other questions about the pre-release PM me and i will be happy to answer them.
