My black dragun is still broken. I only play paintball about once every month or 2. Last November I got my black dragun. It has never worked yet. I have spent over $50 dollars trying to fix it including shipping. I have sent it in twice and both times they have sworn up and down that it was now fixed. I just played sunday and had to use a friends spyder compact cause my gun quit working in the first game. I don't want to mess with M3 anymore! I want my money back so I can get a e-99 or a whole new 2003 black dragun! I have payed $150 dollars and have not had a good day with it yet. M3 phone lines are all disconnected! does anyone know a way to contact them? Do they answer emails?

Similar deal for me. Bought a new LCD. Did not work and sent it in for repairs. Got it back with a new problem. Sent it back before the buy out... the said they were sending it out the day before the buy out but they are liars never got it. I have been unsuccessful getting any contact info about the new company.:pissed:

Yeah, mine never worked either. Ive tried all kind of things and sent it back to m3 to get it fixed but it still doesn't work. The electronics on it just don't want to cooperate. Oh well, I have a much better gun now.

I too am sick of Black Dragun, M3 and their guns. My buddy has one brand new and it will just not work right. I am beginning to think it is the electronics. That gun is completely stock and still doesn't work 100% of the time.

As for me I have a Black Dragun that runs lp and I think it is ok but still they are not the smoothest trouble free gun that people claim it to be or even nowhere close to it for that matter.

Although I see smooth sailing ahead as I just got my new Impulse.

I think M3 can be a good competitor in the paintball industry however they have to change their attitude and make a few modifications.

Their Customer Service for one is the worst I have ever seen. They never answer emails or return phone calls.

They need to realize that the simple stuff matters to us players. Like using standard fittings, put a an allen key fitting in the ball detent cap so you don't have to use vice grips to get it off.

Bottomline and it is just my opinion but M3 really needs to pull it head out of its a_s.

No more M3 for me.

I know it is old news to the guys that are on here everyday but this is my first time here in a month. So I just found out after I made that previous post that M3 was sold.

I hope the new owner's make something positive happen. Even so they can't do much worse then the previous owners.

I remember getting into a heated debate a while ago with some users here that something is up with M3 to not have their site up. I said it doesn't take that long to build site. I also said the company has to be in trouble.

Everyone was like M3 is fine and all this crap. Guess I could say I told ya so but so could about 10 other guys as they too said this day was coming.

Yeah toolfan60 I guess people get that sick of their M3 that they never wanna go through that again so they just break the bank for something real good. Although I do think that M3 could be good under the right direction. I mean a tippy 98 is cheaper then a Black Dragun but a yet a much more reliable gun.

That is the biggest problem with the current M3s. Because of the cheap price and that it is electro they attract newbs to buy them. However they are so high maintenance and unreliable that it makes for a bad experience. Like the guys around me locally with m3s I spend more time fixing them for people then they do playing with them. Well I went a bit overboard there but you get the picture.

M3s are all right for old school players that now what they are doing but for newbs get a tippy.

Maybe the new company will change all this. Personally I think they would be better going after the mid range market with a gun like the bushmaster BKO. A true electro at a great price.

Still have a low end gun but don't make it you main area of interest.

Yeah my Black Dragun would always crap out on me. It would do different stuff each time, and by the time I fixed one of the another would come up. I think I am just going to get a spyder for now. They always seem to work.

Man if you wanted to get something in the same league as a spyder or a Dragun get a tippman 98. Yeah it isn't electro but some of the guys playing with me use em and they are work horses they will never break down. They are the best bang for the buck.

Just another thought. If you can swing it get yourself a ICD BKO. They are the cheapest true electro on the market (not a blowback) as well they are really nice guns.

Canadian they are around 400.00.

US about 260.00.

When I think about it by the time I was finished upgrading my Dragun I was out almost 600 Can. Then I bought my impulse which was almost 800.00 Can.

Hey man I am not trying to tell you what do but spending a few extra bucks now to get something really sweet will save you money down the road. I hear it all the time guys going through 2 and 3 entry level guns then buying something good. I made that mistake too.

Buy the nice gun and get it over with. Otherwise you will end up like the rest of us thinking why didn't I just get something nice to begin with.

Here was my BD.

Black Dragun Basic
Crossfire 68 3000 Fiber tank
Dye Rhyno Cover
Evolution 2

Upgrades were as follows....

32 degrees Uni Drop
WGP Ergo Reg
Check it Full Force Delrin Bolt
Check it Trigger
Maddman Rocket Valve
Check it 15 Degree Assault Block
32 degrees spring kit
bob long lpc
Titanium Hammer
2 Barrels

And that was 600 Canadian. Pretty sick and a big waste of money when I look back at it.

Here is a pic. Oh it is for sale now if anyone is interested.

I'm pretty disgusted too, guys. I thought m3 would get their act together, but when I saw that the webpage wasn't being updated, I knew something was going on. It's a shame that there's no customer service availiable too. If M3 would've done things right, they would be above spyders right about now. But spyders still reign supreme, even though all the features of the BD are better.

Everyone sell your draguns now and get impys!

I bought an impy and I love it. Oh my fricken lord it is ureal. I have a few uprgades on Imp and it is running at 110 psi. However even stock the thing runs at 180psi.

You will never have to worry about the blowback crap and springs and all the headaches that come with the blowbacks.

Goalie is right Imps are definately the way to go.

Speeds are very nice as well. I was going to get one instead of my Impulse. When I was looking for a gun I had it down to 3 guns:

Angel Speed

Impulse

AKA Viking

As far as my Dragun goes I was thinking about hanging on to it as a backup but now that I am spoiled I just don't even wanna shoot my dragun anymore.

All nice guns and you really can't go wrong with either one.

Once that company that bought M3 gets up and running I might send in my dragun, get it fixed and sell it. Maybe at Chrismas I'll buy a spyder Xtra and put my barrel and hopper on it. Right now I'm going to save up for a Electric guitar.
