i would get a J&J ceramic they are nice and you can have one in a week i got mine new off ebay for $28
Got to agree with you. The J&J is a super nice barrel for the price. It's very light, which helps with the 98 which can be a bit bulky/heavy for some people.

Hey, I'm looking for a new barrel for my Tippmann. However, since there are so many I don't know which one to get. I can't buy an expensive barrel, because I'm 15 and don't have a job. I get paid like $25 a week for mowing/trimming the lawn. I'm thinking of getting a Dye Excel, but I don't really want to wait for that, so I want to get a CMI TruFlight... Should I get a CMI???

I'd go with a Lapco Bigshot. It's the best overall barrel I've ever used.

I dont see whats wrong with the tippman stock barrel. My brother just got the gun and we shot about 300-500 paintballs through it and only one break and that was his fault so why do you guys say the stock barrel is bad?

First, I'd reccomend a 14" Terminator barrel. Some people don't like 32 degrees but this barrel has never been anything but perfect for me.
Second, the stock barrel, while it may not break many balls, doesn't have the accuracy of an after-market barrel. I thinks it's only 8.5 inches long so a longer barrel will help. Also, if you really want a stock barrel, have it polished.
I LOVE MY TERMINATOR BARREL!!!!
