...I thought that untill i loaded up my old blade...i was amazed how far it went! i goes really far and its powerfull. i used to think BE sucks but now i find their not that bad. even their blade rocks!

I might take you seriously if you learn how to spell and use some form of punctuation.... Wait, no I won't.
BE isn't that bad. The blade is one of the best markers for it's price range, as are a lot of their markers.

Settle... You shouldn't expect Angel IR3 results from it. It's always possible for a gun to break. Just dont abuse your gun and it'll work fine.

Yeah if anyone has the right to call someone a newbie, it's Headhunter. He's been playing paintball for almost as long as you've been alive.


As for BE I like some of their products. The stingray, talon and blade being some of my favorites. I try to avoid most of their "higher end" metal guns, but for the money you pay for a stingray or a talon you get what you pay for. They're inexpensive, and they're fun and if you ever need an extra gun for another buddy to come along and play recball, BE makes it very easy to equip them for a little over twenty bucks. :)

what does this even mean?
did the solid aluminum body rupture? if so, he had to have shot it with a .22 rifle or run over it with a truck or something for that to happen.
did the volumizer come out? if so, he's a moron cause he didn't screw it in more than one thread.
the most likely is that the valve retaining screw was left out, and when the gas was applied the valve was pushed down the hammer tube and hit the hammer. this can happen with almost any STBB VM clone, including a spyder.

really? you counted? in my five years of playing paintball on a regular basis, i've seen about that many BE guns crap out (almost all due to somone oiling their gun with soap or never cleaning it or something like that). and i've seen more intimidators, shockers, angels, and WAAAAY more autocockers and spyders not work than BEs not work. spyders are notorious for cup seal leaks, worn out sears, and excessive chopping due to poor finishing work on the breech.

how soon you get shot in a game is not a good indicator of skill. i play with a stock class phantom (it's a pump action that uses 12g for gas and has a horizontal 10 round feed tube instead of a hopper, i have to rock and cock (that means tilt it down when i pump)) and i always run to the 50 at the break. at a recent scenario game, i was the first elimination, getting hit 5 times in the first 10 seconds. the guy who shot me (dave "Snoblind" stevens from team moist donut) said at the end of the day "i've only seen a few players using a pump against semis get up in the action, and you kick ***!" but you probably don't even know who team moist donut is... they've only been written up in APG like 6 times or something...


if you want anybody to take you seriously as anything but a 4th grader with a self-esteem problem, learn how to spell, and learn what words mean, and then actually learn how a gun works. that way, you can find out why something broke, and why it was your fault and not a "crapey BE." and if you do "ripe open teh air chambr" you'll know what actually happened and won't need to make up dramatic phrases for "it leaks."

there are inferior guns that cost more money, and if you can discuss it intellgently then we will discuss it with reason and facts instead of "i now 23 pepel with BE and they all brok."

Since this started as a discussion of the realative merits of BE Blades, I have my story to tell.

A friend at a local field decided he would not use his automag until he had taken out someone with his BE Blade, which he had recently got for $15.

4 games and one kid with an electro later he had his elimination. (The funniest part was the sounds, the electro would go "brrrrrrrrrip" and then the BE would go "bang!". This went on for a while.)

We agreed afterwards that BE does a great job bringing people into the sport. The blade was simple to use, reasonably reliable and lasted 4 games without a breakdown. He also went through very little paint and got his money's worth.

We also agreed it takes serious skill (or testicular fortitude of the highest caliber) to bring a Blade out in favor of a really nice automag. :)

Anyway, that's my BE Blade story.

i have a stingray and in my opinion, its the most reliable marker out there...mine never quit on me, BE makes good markers

Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents in defense of a decent company. Yes Brass Eagle makes cheaper markers. Yes they use alot of plastic in thier markers, thus allowing them to sell at lower prices. Yes Brass Eagle brings many new faces to the sport, and allows many who wouldn't be financially able to play to come out. No they are not comparible to anything WDP makes, unless you want to throw in the Rainmaker, then it's your judgement. Anyone know who the first American distributer of the Angel was.....um, let's all say it togther....Brass Eagle. Who's the largest producer of paintball equipment in the US..... one more time.... Brass Eagle. In 1994 I bought my first paintball marker... a BE Tigershark. I soon sold that marker and "upgraded" to a PGP. Even then people played with cockers and mags...well, maybe not that early, but 95-96. Guess what I bought again in 96... a Tigershark. I've had the oppurtunity to play with many of the great names in Paintball, as well as countless great players who go unnamed. I've owned countless types of paintball guns, and I've trashed and sold countless numbers of markers. Guess what, I've still got a BE Tigershark today, and I still play with it. In fact I've got 2... an unmodified one and one with a Chrome Bob Long 45 frame, Dye Stickies and a stock 10 round feed tube. She even runs great on nitro. Call me noob, call me a squid, call me an old fogey, call me a tard, but bring your IR3 and I'll gladly go 1 on 1 with either of my sharks. Win or Lose, I have fun playing paintball, and I owe many thanks to Brass Eagle for starting me out with a reliable pump marker at a great price that taught me many of the skills I have today.
