Challenge Park Extreme Sucks who's With ME!!!
THIS PLACE IS THE HELL OF PAINTBALL FIELDS!!!

Ok went to this stink hole of a field this weekend wow what a joke it smelled like they were burying dead corpses out back

the refs were clueless

the prices were through the roof 90 dollars for a case of there Premium paint(Brass eagle seconds)

Played 5 games in like 9 hours waited in line to play more than anything felt like i went to an amusement park

don't even think about eating there food i ate two hot dogs and felt sick for a day!!!and they don't let you bring your own food uh can we say greedy corporate idiots!!!!

Hahahah, you are an idiot. First off, I just went to challenge this wednesday, and it was awesome. I played 9 games in 5 hrs. and teh refs always kept the games moving. The food there is pretty good, the pizza is awesome, and they dont care at all if you bring your own food in, I always do. It is expensive, but I costs as much as any other field because I shoot around 1000 rds a day there. There is alot of newbies, but the experienced players even it out. Usually If you wait in line at bedlam, you get in the next game. I have been going to challenge park for 2 years and have never had a problem with it.

It is not my fault you have never been to a REAL field
and i noticed that you said nothing about the paint. Huh is that just the best to. Cause we will all know brass eagle makes some of the best paint right ;) and as for the refs, ya say hi to your coworkers from all of us who think they suck cause the only way you could think that there great is if you are one.oh yeah your comment on the food do you take your dates out to McDonald's for a gourmet meal?if ya like the pizza go pick up some at your local grocery store i think there like 10 cents a piece in closing if ya ever wanna play at a real Field with great people and fun fields check out this site BELIEVE ME IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE UP HERE!

what do you want cpx to have for food, 36 oz. steaks? O yea, and a full bar for people 21 and over, geez. The paint is brass eagle, but brass eagle paint isnt bad at all if it is fresh, I never have accuracy issues with it, and I havn't had a barrel break is over 1 year there, and thats with all different guns and barrels

i've gone to cpx once a week this summer. the paint is good, no breaks, fairly straight shooting. the food is good, but you can bring your own, so shut up about that. on a sunda i played 9 games and coulda played more if i wanted. the smell is due to the morons who seem to need to "test" their guns before the game starts, even though they just chronoed. it is the 2 ponds on the town, cause i asked what it was and the paint is rotting on the bottom. i think you sir, just like to complain because it really is a good field.

Anyways, Tony has made intelegent comments before and though his attack was un-justified. If it is a good field in many peoples opinions, the "slander" you've said about it could be unjust. But since you were pointlessley flamed over you opinion. To each his own.

I really enjoyed my time at Cheater Park Extreme. Especially when we had to rechrono because some special people felt the need to turn up the velocity on their guns to 320 fps. The same group who probably has alot of fun with no problems and loves the premium paint. I mean really how many times do you have to shoot a person before they are out?(wipers) I didn't buy any food there because it is way to expensive except for the 1.63 hot dogs and 2 dollar cokes. Some of the refs were fair but some were there for the paycheck. The safety? video is a joke basically no head shots(right), no swearing(saw a shirt that said f you you f'ing f!), pickup your trash (left on ground).

first off, the people turning up their guns isn't the parks fault and neither are the wipers. i know the refs and they tell me they get paid jack. and i'm good friends with a higher up there. my dad also knows forest(minority owner). they get paid close to nothing.

the video is to try to prevent swearing and the like, but its going to happen anywhere. and the refs allow head shots if its a head and gun. but preventing that in game is hard.

we don't need complainers at the park so don't come, ok?

I wasn't complaining just making a point about the low quality. But, since you know someone who works there I can see why you have such a good time there. I drove 2 and a half hours and expected much more than I received. As for me and the five other people that went we won't be back (good for you) and we are telling other people not to go. Hence, support your local fields and I feel sorry that CPX is all some people have.

the refs aren't gonna change just for me man. and forest doesn't know who i am just my dad. the other person i know just gets me the fields i want sometimes, he doesn't go out there with us.

and the complaining commment was for the other guy. i realize that cpx has bad days, and since you've only been there once you must have caught them on one of those.

the other guy was all whining about everything he could.

I just played CPX last Wednesday. I was mildly satisfied.

My biggest complaint was the long wait between games. I realize they have to organize groups for each "open" game, but several times I saw the refs standing around, eating, chatting, etc. while we waited for another game to start up. At one point, we waited 40 minutes between games. If CPX wants to make money, they need to keep games rolling so people are shooting their paint and buying more.

$90/case is a bit high but not much different than other parks. I didn't love paying that much, but I expected it so no complaints about the price. $15 entry fee is acceptable as well.

My second biggest complaint is that Bedlam (the city) was closed for the day while they cleaned it. Bedlam is the premier field at CPX and I was disappointed that we didn't get to play it. The park is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Why couldn't they clean it then?

During the games, I thought the refs did a good enough job.

The woods fields are full of mosquitoes. Not really the parks fault, but annoying none the less. I could actually see a cloud of mosquitoes gathering around me while we were getting ready to start the game. My advice, take plenty of Deep Woods Off before going into the woods fields.

The food was about as good as could be expected. They did run out of everything except hot dogs by 1pm though.

In short, they have awesome fields but could use some management help to make it play a lot better and improve their profits at the same time.

the town is god the first few times you play it, but i got tired of it after a bit. thats my opinion. they have many more refs on weekends and have the games staggered.

as far as management goes, it could be improved. one time we were supposed to go to a field called rampage. well we stopped at a field called frenzy and i was like what the hell? the ref was like i dunno where its at. i knew where it was at and told him it was the next field down. then he said the games had to be quick cause we were on the wrong field.

the field manager is only lik 17 or 18(i forgot). they need someone a little more experienced in that shed.

Any field that doesn't allow head shots is a crummy field to me. I have two fields near my neighborhood. One only allows you to surrender bunker, has a loooong wait between games, no shade, and have to pay 90 dollars for crap fp severe paint that I can get at my outlaw field for $40. At least it's a sup airball field.

The other one is ruffntuff. You are allowed to shoot people anywhere. Basicly it's paintball. No silly newbie rules. As soon as your game ends, there is another game starting in the field 10 feet away from it. The hyperball field and woods field is low maintenance so the field fee isn't that high. Pro teams show up there to practice sometimes.

The outlaw field that run by a guy who just travels around making new fields out of empty lots. It is really cheap and cost effective. $40 for venom paint, $5 for all day air. Sometimes tournament teams drop by. The other field had more professional teams showing up; however, because the police constantly interuptted us we had to move to another one. Which is a little bit too woodsy.

Yep, that was me. My nephew was with me, shooting a blue Model 98.

I remember the yellow jersey. Armageddon was the most fun field of the day. That second to last game I was in the tower trying to hold off the other team. We got whooped and I went through about 600 rounds before they finally got me.

thats another thing about cpx, you don't pay for air. its included in the entry fee. so if you look at other fields it costs pretty much the same.

btw cpx does allow head shot. they say try not to but it happens all the time and no one cares.

I have been in pest control for about 8 years now...there is stuff they can do, and most of it is pretty inexpensive. Chances are that its just not important to them. Of course if they want to pay my teams entry fee & paint on a wednesday, I might be able to drive up there on a Monday & Turesday and help them with there mosquito prob;)

With West Nile Virus, they need to do something...

Yep I remember that tippy, the games at armageddon were the best of the day, but a few of the games at wastelands were good, I remember you ran to try to bunker me or get to the bunker in front of me and I went around the car and you got lit up:P

I totally agree with west Nile becoming such a big problem in the Midwest all paintball fields should be taking precautions
as well as players maybe you post a thread on how to manage insect problems for field owners i know some do post on this site it's just a thought:D

I just might do that. I was just reading up on some products out there for mosquito control, and I learned something that would be of interest to every field owner. I dont see what we could do about it, but it certainly makes our battle against them tougher, but CO2 is used in one new product to trap them because its a proven mosquito attractant.:eek:

Hey Evil Moron, I pay for paintball myself thank you very much. And as I already stated, the refs don't act any different on the field just cause I'm there. The owner is never there, and the other guy I know ONLY helps me get open games on the fields me and my friends like. He doesn't go one the field. I'm almost 15, my dad was playing before I was born. He got me into the sport, but I pay for it myself. The world doesn't revolve around me, nor does it you. So take a friggin seat and quit whining

I can't believe I get under your skin that bad that you keep having to post. I think we are way off topic though. I thought we were talking about how bad of an experience some people have had at CPX and how it needs to vastly improve or it will fizzle out like a bad fart. I also can't believe they fired the inventor of CPX (any info on that?) and the refs walked out.
I mean really how can: I'm not 10; be an awesome comeback?

challenge park used to be cool but the last couple times i have been there it was just kinda ok. as for tookoolchad, man your a ****ing dolt. get a clue before you go and insult half the posting population here. challenge park is good it just depends on when you go and if you food was that bad and you had the runs all day, well then that is what the skatepark next to the field is for. if you want a real field and a real challenge come find me at tri-city paintball and me and some friends will school you in the proper way to get owned.

I also can't believe they fired the inventor of CPX (any info on that?) and the refs walked out.

he was the manager, but they chased him out and thats why its getting better. he still owns part of the park. the ref thing was back in may when they went on strike, but brass eagle fired them for not showing up to work. they have enough refs now though.

tri city paintball is in st.charles IL, 60174. it is on randall road 1\2 block north of the intersection of RT.64 and randall road in a big warehouse building. it is indoors and has to airball fields. they are open on thurs from 5pm -10 pm, fri 5pm-midnight, sat 9am-midnight sun noon-8 pm. i am always there hanging out and most of the employees are more than happy to go out and play a game if you think you can take them. and if you are at CPX st.charles is north of there about 20-30 miles. if you think you can handle him my friend works there his name is jake and he loves doing 7 on 1 and as to date he hasnt lost one yet. so come on down, if you think you can handle it

doesnt matter if they are renters jake will handle them. and if you think your so confident then why dont you come down and do a 4 on 1 with him or i bet he would love to do a 1 on 1 with you. he loves cocky kids who have nothing to back it up with. let me know if your interested and i will see if he is up for it.

buahahaha, I not very cocky Im just stating the facts, if you lose in a 7 vs. 1 game you suck, if you are on the team with 7 guys. 4 vs. 1, that should be another very simple win, 1 vs. 1, that doesnt show a lot about a player, that shows no team skills or anything, but sure, maybe one day Ill take my team up there and we'll play some 1 vs. 1's or 4 vs. 1's, I hope "Jack" likes getting lit up:rolleyes:
