I am stuck in weather buying a stock autococker and upgrade it a tiny bit in the next couple of years or getting a spyder compact 2000 and buying a new smart parts all american, 12v revvy, regulator(palmers maybe???(i run co2)) and a lapco drop forward and a cyclone bolt??? Which option would be better? i dont have that much money, i could spend about 280 on the spyder, or just buy the a/c. Or what kind of setup would be good for the spyder.

Thanks, keith

Cocker, hands down. The trigger feels awesome, plus you customize the hell outta cockers. They perform much better than Spyders (duh). Go for it..but prepare to spend some extra cash and time with the gun. You'll need a new barrel down the road, as well as money for 12v, dropforward & bottomline and crap. If you're certain you want a cocker, do some research and ask alot of questions on it. There's alot of stuff to know.

well normally of course i would recomend the cocker, but on your budget, i would say go with the spyder, or find a used cocker that is already decent so you dont have to pump hundrends of dollars into bfore it is a nice marker.

i would say get the cocker. there is nothing wrong with tricking out a spyder, but dont expect to sell it for much

Cocker hands down. IMO a stock cocker is better than ANY spyder or "spyder clone" (except maybe the em1, although it's a lot different). This is just my opinion, and which ever gun you like better is better for you. If you do get a spyder make sure you lower the operating pressure somehow.
