use html tags or use the attach file option right below the options box when you post. hit browse and find the file. you can't upload pics in the off topic forum.

when you go to post, there will be a box right above the "submit reply" button. it says "attach file, maximum size 51200 bytes" and there will be another box next to it that has a browser line and a "browse" button. click the browse button and find your file. double click it and hit "submit reply."

html tags take a pic directly from a website. click the "IMG" button above the reply dialog box, below the message icons. type in the url of a picture and click ok.

then you're doing something wrong. make sure the file is a .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, or .png file. other files will not work.
