lol, paintballer56. You amaze me sometimes...anyways, If you give a Cocker & Mag the same barrel etc. etc. I find that the Cocker has a nicer, quieter sound. It's like a silenced pistol...

i think that the mag would be quiter arnt they known for the quietness?

Totally depends on the set up.

Which barrel you use & operating pressure are the big differances, but other varabiables can quiet a gun too. I have heard mags and cockers sound like cannons and conversely like absolutly quiet as well.

I have both a cocker and a mag, the cocker is definitely quieter, I have a 16" Freak kit with back pieces for both. The cocker is quieter.

I would say the cocker is quieter. even with a barrel... to me, mags have a distinct sound i can notice where ever it is.
