i got my second flatline barrel and i installed it right, the barrel is all the way in the adapter, the shoots go right in the center, no swerving, but after 30-40 feet the balls rise up in the air!!! it's messed. when i aim down its the opposite. does this have to do with velocity, please help:)

I believe your velocity is too low. Go to a field with at chrono and get it at 270-280 fps. There was a thread on this forum a few months ago where a guy explained the physics of the flatline system very well. I seem to remember reading that a slow ball will rise and that a fast ball will sink. The flatline system is very dependent on the speed of the ball.

The ball is SUPPOSED to rise. Trust me. You just have to get used to the Flatline and how it works. It goes down then up and levels out. It's meant for longer ranges.

ok for one, you should have known all about the flatline before you bought it. It puts a Backspin on the ball, that's why it's goofy as h3ll and isn't accurate. With the backspin the ball will seem to hover, of just float in the air, and even rise.
the flatline is not an Accurate barrel, you are better off buying a barrel kit or an Dye barrel such as the Boomstick of UL.
(p.s. for all you die hard tippmann fans argue all you want, but it's the truth)

thanks for telling me it is supposed to rise, i guess i'll just monkey with the sights. So i geuss for short range fights i should aim down a bit? my old flatline didn't raise, but it was worn out so it makes sense......
just got to get used to using the flatline for those long range shots

well i don't know why the "s" word is so bad
just to prove it here's it's definiton:
"s" word: to shoot at exposed individuals (as of an enemies forces) from a usually concealed point of vantage

we have a smart mouth on our hands. Just because he owned one doesnt means he knows all about it. Cleary that was the case. SO YOU my ignorant little friend, you can read what was said and then post because like you said, it's good for you;)
