Backyard paintball field!

Hey me and my friends are building a paintball field in his backyard and we need to get some plans for a field plan and bunkers.:agree: So if u have any good setups for a 2 on 2 games. thanx

Bunkers- Pallets, barrels, old wooden stuff like doors etc., kids' play houses/ jungle gyms (I used to have one), natural bunkers like trees (if in the woods), tires

Lay out- Try to mirror each side with about two back bunkers, two mid, and three front. Just my ideas. :)

Go trashpicking for things to make bunker out of. We found a swingset and a bunch of old boards for our field in the neighborhood.

Go to your local phone company or electric company and get their used cable spools...they should give'em to ya for free...you just have to haul'em.

if u use things such as baords or wood as bunkers, just remeber to tell your dad what they are for. my friend made bunkers (baords with stands nailed together) and his dad burned them all thinking they were scrap... i laughed at him for all his usless hard labor :laugh:

hahahaha that sucks. go to a landfill or dump, or drive around and look for dishwashers and stoves that people put outside as trash.

If you use old wooden boards or furniture, it'll be a good idea to sand out any rough edges and to remove or cover any nails sticking out (sharp OR topside). Going into a bunker and getting an arm full of splinters kinda sucks.

You can also find washing machines and refrigerators in the trash. We have one of each at our field. :D

ohh and cars are good bunkers too, you can find them in just about every driveway.

make sure u ask for permission before taking cars, apparently thats some sort of felany or something like that, i still don't know why...

if you have construction going on near you dig through the dumpster. When they cut wood just a little too short or a little crooked they throw em' out. Also if you walk the construction site u will find thosands of unesed nails and screws. You can also go to walmart and they sell those huge cheap plastic storge things two of em' r big enough for a good size bunker.
Something that makes sweet bunkers is digging a hole about 5' deep and 10' by 10'. The build a bunch od 4' deep trenches that go out from the the bunker so it looks like a spider. Then stack rocks/ logs/ sticks or anything else about 2 ft. high around the perimerter.

Go and ask for cable spools they work great and you can do alot of different designs with them.....Also pallets work reall good you could probablly get those for free at a hardware store or a place that sells flowers or something....Hope your course turns out pretty cool.....
