Why would you want a different feed? All high end guns use vertical feed (Angel, Vert feed Cockers, etc).
Strange question. Keep it like it is.

Unfortunately, you can't switch to powerfeed. You'd need to modify the body, as powerfeed holes are usually by the side, and the hole for the Xtra is straight on top. Even after modifying the body, you'd still need somebody who makes a powerfeed for Xtras, and there isn't anything like it, yet anyways. :) Shockers are high end, and you can have the choice of straightfeed, powerfeed, or vertical feed.

i just cant get used to aiming looking at the side of the gun, i want to get a feed that will slant to the side and will allow me to add a sight rail on top of the gun... i guess this isnt possible???

There are side sight rails on the side of the beavertail. If you don't like the vertical feed on the Xtra sell it and get a TL Plus that has a powerfeed.

is it possible to put a laser dot sight on the sight rail, because it seems kinnda small?

dude but vert feeds are so much better for firing bursts, cause then it will fire as fast as your finger can pull the trigger, especially with a revvy or warp feed(but a warp feed on a spyder is just ridiculous)

How is a Warp Feed on a Spyder rediculous? I have yet to see, or hear of anybody shooting over 20BPS, so if a Warp Feed is rediculous for a Spyder, I'd say it's pretty rediculous to mount one on an electro as well.

I get about 37 from my spyder.....no lie.

What do you mean by that...?

I get 37 shots per second outa my spyder...there iz a reazon for warp feed!!

37BPS? Just by letting it sputter?

37bps? I seriously doubt that. I'd like video proof, sound doesn't work because anyone can emulate 10000bps.
37bps using what frame, gun, etc?

LOL, ppl take me serouse, whata shame. I just wanted to make warp feed feel like it had some importance...

I thought the purpose of a warp-feed is to have a smaller profile on top? So you don't have a fat target on the top of your gun... Seems like they're most popular on mags, where they can get the smallest gun profile possible?

why would they make the verticle feed removeable if there were no power feed replacement?
Hsuve

You can always remove it so that it can be cleaned. Also, there may be other "styles" of vertical feeds coming out in the future, which is probably why they made it removable. Again, due to the reason that the hole, in which the balls go into the chamber, is located directly a top, to mount a powerfeed would require a bit of change to the body.

You can modify your site rail so it is mounted on the side, therefore being able to add a site to the gun with vertical feed out of the way

so what your saying is i can buy a site rail, and stick it on the side and take off the smaller one, that way the sight rail can support a sight?

U can take the one off the top and put it on the side.
hotshot409

but there isnt one on the top

The space provided on the Spyder Xtra is exactly big enough to support a Hot Shot Sight. If other sights use the same mounting system, then any sight can be mounted to the sight rail that comes stock with the Xtra (the stock rail on the side).

well, i hate to break it to you, but it is AT LEAST as annoying to aim with a power feed than a vertical feed. Power feeds take up even more of your real estate when ur trying to aim.
what you want is a regular right feed (like on sum normal cockers), but u cant get that on kingman guns cuz their Ghey, plain old ghey

Well, you can't get right feeds on Intimidators, Matrixs (Stock, without modification...), Angels, or Impulses. I suppose they're all "ghey" as well? And yes, you can get right feeds on Spyders, it's done by Polecat Paintball. :P

another stupid statment shot down by hsuve.
How much is the straight feed again? and when polecat does it do they do it like on a tippman where you push the thing on top to take it off. or can it not come off?

Hehe, my intention is not to "shoot" anybody down actually. :)
Straightfeed (Black) - $40
Straightfeed (Black) with installation and shipping - $50
Straightfeed (Chrome) - $45 (About that much, he doesn't have chrome ones on his website, so I can't remember the price very well...)
Straightfeed (Chrome) with installation and shipping - $55 (Again, it's about that much...)
Yes, you can take it off, however, it's unlike the Model 98. The valve pin going through the middle of the body is replaced with a threaded one. Screws go through there, and keeps the straightfeed on. Take the two screws off, the ball detent cover off, and your barrel off, and it'll slide right off.

replace that weird sight rail and get an armson pro dot sight then no problem just point and shoot. the pro dot works great with vert feed because you do not actually look throught it you aim with both eyes and what you see is a floating red dot over your target. It is the fastest on target sighting system around.

Does anyone know how to site with a vert. feed??? I mean come on!!! its so easy!!! It all has to do with you eyes. Take the barrel of your marker and look through it with your right eye. Then put your left hand next to the barrel on the left side then open both of your eyes..... Notice it looks like you can see through your hand? Thats how it works for a vert. feed. Sight down the top of your gun THEN OPEN BOTH OF YOUR EYES youll be able to see through the feed
