Yea. Actually it was on a spyder extra when i used it. I used my friends extra w/ the J&J and it was very nice for the money. Accuarte and not to loud. It was 14" long if you were wonderin

J&J ceramic barrels ok the one I used didnt seem to clean well after a break. I would recommend getting a Custom products one piece barrel at http://www.e-paintballoutlet.com for 35 bucks which is the lowest price available! Also 32 Degrees Terminators Are really good to which are about 40 dollars at most online stores. If you dont care about loudness and more about effiency and performance get a Lapco bigshot for Medium bore paint or a Lapco Autospirit for small bore paint. But over all I would recommend getting a Custom Products barrel. Read my thread stickied to the top named "longer barrels must be better right?" If your not sure on barrel legnth.

i would go with a 32* terminater, they're pretty quiet, accurate, and cleans breaks good. if u want to buy one AllOleander has one for sale for 40 dollars shipped. i own both the J&J ceramic and the terminater and i perfer the terminater over the ceramic just because the terminater clears ball breaks easier. i wish i got a custom products barrel rather than my ceramic, my friend has a cp barrel on his spyder 2k and it works better than the ceramic.
If u get a cp or a terminater try using PMI Premium Advantage i had really good results from that paint u can get it from www.actionvillage.com for under $55 shipped (u will get the advantage shell when u put the normal pmi premium in the shopping cart)

What paint do you use? That should answer your question.

This is a AWESOME combo. My bro has this on his gun (14) after i did the strip down for him and sanded and oiled the bolt etc. the gun was quiter then almost all the cockers at my field.

Thats probably not possible unless you have a good lp setup.

seriously, my brother has the X-tra and my friend has the cocker, they were right next to each other and the only reason i could desypher that the X-tra was firing was because it has a high pitch ting when it fires. It was still VERY quiet, maybe a little louder then i made it appear to be, but EXTREEMLY quiet. I forgot to say in my origanal post that we use PMI premium. Works the best with J&J.

If you get a good quiet aftermarket barrel you should notice quite a bit of difference over the stock barrel. But I doubt it would be alot quiter then the cocker unless your got a real good low pressure setup. The lower the pressure cycles the quieter. I've seen spyders, piranhas that have really good lp setups that are usually quieter then most cockers. Well usually stock, but not upgraded to the max.
