I don't own one but I am thinking about getting a nice and accurate pump that I won't have to upgrade much on. I don't have enough money for anything yet and I don't have many diffrent ideas in mind.

Right now all I own is my golden talon.
But i want to pick up a nice used PGP or 007 for cheap soon.
I also want to get a Red stock class phantom.
I want to start collecting more paintball guns so eventually I will have a lot of pumps.

The phantoms need no upgrades. The only upgrrades I am planning to get for mine are cosmetic.

I have a P68 df and 2 splatmasters (even though they aren't "true" pumps). I would also like a phantom, but the next priority is a new gun for the wife.

I have a stock class black Phantom. Trust me, it doesn't need any upgrades for my purposes. It's very accurate and comfortable to hold. I switch between this and my m98 when I play.

I've posted the picture before and it was on our website for a long time.
The drop forward is 1/8" steel and the stock is 1/8" aluminum. I bent and cut them to the shape they're in and then slotted the base of the grip. They use the existing screws in the grip. The ASA adapter is from a Mag and it feeds directly into the valve via 3/8" stainless hose. I magna-ported the valve, lightened the trigger and pump action, spiral ported the barrel, gilled the pump handle, added a chrome trigger shoe and a 4x scope.
I don't play with it much, it's more for show. I like to tinker with guns!!

PMI Trracer:
with CMI 45 grip frame, Hogue wraparounds, 16" SPAA, Adjustable Venturi bolt, raised sight rail
ACI Hornet:
with CMI 45 grip frame, no-name wraparounds, same 16" SPAA as above
PGP:
Fasst change, velocity adjuster (the new PGP2s look sweet, wish I had held up and waited for one)
Another PMI Trracer Deluxe (used) coming in the mail.

how are the Trracers? i'm looking into a pump, and i'm thinking Trracer, PGP, or HOrnet..

They are fine markers! Highly suggest getting Trracer Deluxe (Maverick Deluxe - same gun, only difference being one says "ACI Maverick" on the side, the other say "PMI Trracer" :) ). Either the deluxe model, or an aftermarket adjustable venturi bolt. Without either of these, you have to disassemble the marker and change springs in order to change velocity. Its easy, but man, is it a pain in the keister.
The Hornet is another excellent choice, again the EXACT same gun as the Trracer Deluxe, but just with no cocking arms (it's undercocking). If you can find a Hornet cheap (also called Tagmaster), snatch it up. I myself, prefer the undercocking.
PGP is a legend of course, you know its good! :)
You can get a brand spankin new Maverick Deluxe for $65.
I bought every single one of my pumps used. All are great!

Hey, u may not like u'r tigershark, but i think that with a lil care and upgrades, that for the price u couldn't get a more high quality pump gun. I have one of the new tigershark crystals $50, i added a spyder threaded custom products crome barrel $50, i bought new metal strip pins for it $10, added a marksman 80-10 mini hunting scope (silver) $20, and i filled the hollow grip with hot glue to keep supressed that loud hollow echoe u get when it shoots. For less than $130 bucks i have a very efficiant, accurate, and high quality gun. U couldn't get me to buy a phantom, or a sniper II if it ment selling my beloved tigershark.

I have a Sterling STP pump gun, silver anoized with bottom line adapter running nitro...if you guys ever shot a sterling..that pump has the sweetest and most fluidlike pumping action...and it is incredibly accurate!! Try finding one in the states though...

Spending $130 dollars on a tigershark is just silly. You sound like the guy that said his stingray can be as good as a cocker after you spend $300 on it. If you have never shot a phantom i suggest you try it and if you have any matureness to put your pride aside you wil see how nice the phantom actually is. I used my tricked cocker before my phantom and I was still suprised at how accurate it was.
My pump is based on the shridan pnumatics but it is a hand made stainless steel gun called a Viper. It was made by RTP gunsmithing here in san diego. It has a 14" barrel (ported), battle grips, "behind the pump" lever action 12gm quick change, delron bolt w/speed strip skrews and also runs off of bottom line CO2. It is similar to a Palmer pump and is dead on balls accurate!

Are u sure it's a bushmaster. Cause i don't care how old it is a stock bushmaster is worth more then $270. A custom one should be runnin in the $600 dollar range. Maybe u just got the facts mixed up from u'r friend.

I bought it at AL-CO but I don't remember the brand name. I use it as a backup and sometimes we use them for winter games. It works okay if everyone else has one.
As with the brand name of my pump, Viper, and the Bushmaster, there are markers bieng made nowwith the same name... makes things confusing! The old bushmaster was a great gun! a nelspot dirivative but great with accuracy and speed!

Just got my diablo slingshot in... shoots pretty sweet, i got to where i can shoot once bout every 4 seconds, which i think is pretty good for a slingshot. It's got range like u wouldn't believe- i mean it makes tippmans flatline look like the stock barrel on a stingray. I could hit pretty much whatever i aimed at, i mean if u put in between the cross bars it'll hit it.

I just got the ACI Hornet. I have hears that pro-lite threaded barrels will work on it. Is this true? Also does anyone recall seeing the screw on .45 grip for m-16 style grips? I have been looking online and can't seem to find them or even who makes them... I would like to put a .45 grip on the hornet versus the stock eurogrip which, in my opinion, sucks.

Personally, I own a completely tricked out phantom - stock and hopper breeches, 45 grips, drop forward, palmer stabilizer, 11" and 14" stock barrels (which are VERY accurate) and a 14" sp all american (quiet). Also own a stock PGP but with a little TLC from Sam Tussing I think she'll out perform any cocker any day for a fraction of the cost. Oh buy the way if anyone can think of a way to trick out the phantom any more besides adding a site and a pneumatic assist, e-mail me. Im honestly looking for another upgrade.

This was some obvios attemt at making a flame, and it worked. You should close it now.

Oh, I'm very awake and my head is fine!! Why pimp out a Talon? Why not? Why remove the trigger on a Bushmaster 2000 and have it magnet activated? Why not? Why build custom one of a kind 'Cockers? Why not?
The main answer is to be different as well as have some fun. Paintball is a social event. Think about it. You can't play by yourself. You have to have other people there to play. Just as in any social scene people need to be different. How many Talons like mine have you seen? How many triggerless guns have you seen? Variety is the spice of life.
I have fun and that's what matters!
