Hey guys. I bought a LP kit and just got it in the mail today. I was assembling it normally when I ran into a little problem. I have to get the old hose off of the tank adapter so I can fit the new hose in there. However the old hose seems to be screwed in the tank adapter pretty good and I can't get it to unscrew at all. I've tried to soften the loctite with some rubbing alcohol but have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here's exactly what I did to get mine out because I had the same problem. Clamp the ASA in a vice(either a vice with rubber padding or wrap the ASA in a towel or somethin so as to not damage it at all). Get a 7/16 crescent wrench and hold it on the the place it goes to turn the hose and at the same time heat up the area with a torch or a lighter. As it heats up, apply some pressure and the hose should easily come loose.

Get a blow dryer and heat the area where the hose is screwed into the asa. Get a towel, wrap it around the asa and use a crescent wrench to remove the hose.
