Best Paint For the Stock timmy Barrel..

so whats the best paint to use in the stock barrel? i usually use the rps/pmi premium.. will those work good? :D

Why would you say small bore paint? Do you not want the correct paint- to- bore match? The stock intimidator barrel bore is .690. Thats sounds pretty big to me. Try some zap. Its not on the same level as say marbalizer but it will still soot nice out of your stock barrel.

the bore of the stock barrel is pretty large, if u try paint like marbs, they will roll right out of the barrel, the best way to test the barrel to bore matching, is to try it urself. Like if ur friends use different paint, ask to see a ball, then stick it in ur barrel.

try to blow the balls through the barrel, if u cant its to big, if its real easy, then its to small. but if u use a good amount of force to blow it through and u dont hurt ur cheeks, then its the right size.

Depends on which barrel you got. The stock barrel came in many incarnations, there was the tulip milled barrels (the one I got) which are very large bore, and ZAP works very well in those. There is also a JnJ barrel, and now a CP barrel (If your barrel isnt tulip milled, you have this) which are medium bore, about .689-.687 and work well with any medium bore paint :D

The newer CP barrels are .69 there Twitchy.

Get paint as big as you can, cuz most paint will roll right out of it.
ZAP will still work pretty well, compared to RPS, maybe try big ball or something... I'm not sure..

But using marbalizer (RPS) I had to use my .682 freak insert. SMALL.. er small..

I dunno, every retailer heralds big ball as rps.. but on the rps site there is no mention of them... hmmm... discontinued? Or Rps makes them for another company, ie PMI.

hmm.. pmi prems blow easy thru my barrel.. will they break alot?

my field only allows white paint.. and the pmi prems are the only good paint that i can find.

If you have the LP mod then ball breakage shoudln't be a huge issue... u should be able to use POS paint like brasseagle.. although that crap will never and I mean NEVER be used in my gun... it is unworthy.

the only time i would use brass eagle paint was if i was totally outta paint and didnt want or have enough money to pay $100 for field paint. even tho paying that much would be worth it compared to be paint.. but im a cheap *** :laugh:
