M98/Spyder

Im looking for a good barrel under $50 and it has to be able to take a hell of a beating (that is the most important quality in my mind right now). Its for my back up Spyder that my dad uses and it will be mostly long/mid range shooting in open fields and some brush. As I said it will probably be dropped, scratched, stored with a pile of other guns. Basically it has to be "newbie proof" as that is mainly who uses it my dad and anyone else without a gun. Wow this post looks long now.
