I am going to get a used shocker of some sort and I want a vert feed. how much extra should I offer for a vert over a standard? and also shockers are closed bolt and that means there is no blowback if its timed properly, so why have a powerfeed on it? is there any reason at all?

also what trigger should I get? I was thinking eclipse? I don't have a ton of money so I need it to be cheap. is it the trigger on the shocker worse or better than an impy? the reason I am upgrading from my m98 is because my bro got a booyah for his spyder and I fell in love with electro triggers. is it better than the booyah trigger? should I get a used bushy instead? I don't want a bushy much because I am on a budget and if I got one I would need nitro.

thanks in advance

Kay...the shocke4r trigger is way better then an impulse trigger and It si sooooooooomuch better then just an booya grip.

Vert feed will be a little more expensive but I can't tell you what to offer on it cause I don't know where you are buying it from. Eclipse triggers are very nice and have a good solid feel too them. If you have the money for it I would definately recommend it but you should also consider one from www.wermmods.com . Either one will be a good upgrade.

With the thing about the power feed. You really don't need them. I have a standard feed and I love it. I have also never chopped a ball and I can put the thing into turbo and it feeds just fine. There are no skips or blank shots cause the gun can't feed fast enough. As long as you have a rev on it you will never out shoot your gun. I personally don't like bushmasters but that doesn't mean that they suck, so if you wanna look into a bush master you should talk to ricky_c or simon_woodstock, they know more about the deatails of them then I do.

Shockers are great. I love mine, it is definately a good investment and definately better then just a standard blowback with an elcd on it.

Hope this helps.

I like my Shocker too. The guys on my team want me to get an Angel. They say they are just as accurate. Nope. I've sent strings of paint across the field with the paintball just landing right on top of each other. I don't see Angels doing that. I like the fact that I can run it off co2 for fun days and HPA on tourney days w/o changing anything.

The stock trigger is terrible. I have a Werm 2x trigger and it is sweet. Standard feed is fine too. No NEED for a powerfeed, just a good loader.

It is bulky thou. When I use my Automag w/ 12" barrel I'm racing all over the field. The Shocker seems to hold me down. It might be psychological........

stock impulse and shocker triggers are both sloppy. if you get a wermstick or adjustable trigger for em it makes them great.

The only thing good I can figure about powerfeeds, is that they place the hopper more to the left of the gun and may decrease hopper hits if you play right, or just like snapping from the right bunker sides. They also have a larger stack of paint ready to let fly. A third positive is that you have the option of turning off your paint flow if you ever need to.
The bad thing is powerfeeds make an already tall gun even taller.

I have a S/F and keep it wide open on 11.25 bps, and have no probs with a standard feed. I can't figure out why these other markers brag about doing "16 bps" The last time I checked a revy will only feed around 12 bps and I sure don't see many of them with warp feeds.
I did not like my stock shocker trigger. I shimmed it and added front and rear stops. Then I removed the domeswitch and replaced it with an aluminum mounted lever action microswitch. Its much better now. Basically an insanity trigger mod that I did myself.

that's a sweet deal
as long as it's working, your getting the better end of the deal
