Well the new Rats have the 20bps board, so it depends how fast your finger can pull.

If you wait and get a RAT with WAS Board it could max out around 36 BPS i believe (not positive though).

Im thinking more like 27, but i may still be wrong. And you can really rip on em if youve got a good trigger finger. (and a good hopper ;) )

Lets put it this way...

The Rat factory team gets checked for "cheater" boards an adverage of 4 time a tourmenent. This is no lie. At every major turney team members have had to give their guns to officials so they could try all the "tricks' to get them to fire "full Auto". And then the official would hand the gun back and ask the player to show him how he could shoot that fast. In all those checks, there has never been one time the offical had any doubt (when he was thru) that the guns were perfectly legal simi only guns.

Shawn had his gun in the store the other day, and just for the heck of it we had him shoot over the shot counter. (actuly we were checking out the Shocker over the shot counter and we were razing him that he was "only" hitting 12-13 with the new shocker)

He pulled out his Rat and blased off severl strings in the 20+ range and his best was 1437/min (our shot counter measures rounds per min) which is real close to 24 per sec.

Now will YOU shoot 24/sec? NO you will not. But what ever rate of fire you get will NOT because the gun limited you to that speed.

An Impulse is a Impulse, they are going to max all max out at the same bps with the same board and noid. An RJR would be no different. The only thing that might slow down the ROF would be the stock bolt which is a bit heavy.
