secret trigger mod

LOL i know everyone has been dieing for this right? I have to tell you this is a very very very small mod, but it does reduce the pull. Here it is:

WHen you pull the trigger, the sear gets pivoted, releases he striker, adn the sear comes back down and rests on a pin. If you put a sleeve on that pin, the sear is seated lower, thus it will take less trigger movement to release the striker. If your gun won't cock, use a thinner sleeve. I've also tried sponge, and taht seems to work ok too. Just get something underneath that sear, something small, and it will seat the sear lower. If it doesn't cock, remember take the item(sponge, sleeve, cloth) and get something thinner..its confusing but that's the best i could explain it.

I can't find the pin, I see the sear, it connects to the striker and when you pull the trigger it releases the striker, where is this pin it rests on???

take out your trigger and lift up the part of the sear that is closest to the trigger slot. and there is a pin it rests on

Holy crap TL84! i just did this mod and it is sooooooo sweet! IT Has absolutely no tention befor it clicks to shoot. OH MY GOD! i just clicks i have never felt this befor on a spyder! I Fell like i have a pro trigger job! DAMN this is sweet!

When u used the spnge stuff, how did u get it to stay on the pin?

But wont the sponge get brittle? lso, did u put it on thepin or the sear? And about how thick is the layer of stuff. Any other ideas for stuff i could use on the pin? And after i put the stuff on, should i add a longer trigger block to make up for the slack i gained by doing this. One more question, how do i measure my ull, from where to where?

eh..i couldn't tell you how thick the pading should be...i stuck my thingy to my pin...as for the slack, don't add a bigger trigger block, but a return block(the blob of epoxy on your trigger) you should put more on. i just put a ruler up against my trigger. I put the trigger next to 0, then pulled it. it's not exact, but mine is now like 3/16 of an inch long, or about 4 mm.

Just outta curiousity (if thats how you spell it) how did you come up w/ this mod. It is so original and there are so many things that sound logical once your told it, but how did you come up w/ it? YES, YOU ARE PAINTBALL GOD. WE ALL BOWN DOWN TO YOU!

i read up on maybe 10 versions of the Spyder Trigger mod, then i compiled the best out of each, and made the Charlie Kim's Do It Yourself Kick butt Shoot paint up teh Wasoo Spyder Trigger Job 5000. Makes sense right? the best out of all the trigger jobs out there...i think this is pretty close to Polecat Paintball's trigger job.

I just did ur new trigger mod, and i wrapped a thing piece of cloth around the pin. Then, i aded mroe epoxy. I got my pull down to 1/16th of an inch!!!!! Its unbelievable, i dont know how it works, but i just measured it. Its great, the epoxyt just lets the spring click to shot, and the block only lets it go back enough to shoot. This trigger mod, or the long name u gave it, is unbelevable. I can shoot extremely fast, and it takes no efort to even pull the trigger. Thansk a lot for mods.

Barely, where the safety pushes in is as high as the trigger will go. Sicne i did the secret thing, and rounded both the sear and striker, i og it down to this much. Adn then after al was done, i added a new trigger blcok to compensate for the extra slcak, and that is my pull. It is unbelievable. Ive ben tuning t for the past week, and go it down to this.

haha glad it was all a success for you guys..one other thing...my safety doesnt work..LOL my trigger pull is 3 mm...my safety won't even go in any more but my rof is 10-11 bps...so i think it's worth it :D

How exaclty did u detect ur rate of fire, buy shotting and have so own time a second? I think i could get my pul even shorter if take out my safety, bbut sinc pulling down is so short, i dont know yet, im afraid someo one wil touch it and it will fire. It so tight, when the safety is on, the triger wont even move. Ive had all day to mess with it becaus ei didnt have school, so i think im gonna take out the safety and se how much shorter i can get it. I just hoipe the people at me y field dont **** theyre pants becsue i dont have a safety.

don't take out the safety...it's illegal at most fields to not have a safety on your gun. ALso, it won't shorten the pull if you take out hte safty. that's jsut a myth..my friend tried it and all it did was add another hole for dirt and dust to get in. hey i sed i'd post it and i did right~? :D
