I didn't have and icd bushmaster before the switched to the new battery in the grip. I was wondering if people thought the new configuration is better or if the old one is better? I was looking at the old ones and they definetly had more room to do more things such as dip switches, but the new ones are nice because its easier to change the battery! So i wanted to know what you all thought.

from what i've heard, the batterys in the old style would tend to ratter around when you played

Battery in grip doesn't bang around inside and make noise. I still like only the chip in grip better though.

i liked the chip in grip, easy to access the dipswitches to change rof, and the batttery did die that ofter, and changeing that was 4 screws instead of 2, no biggy.

I have an eclipse bushy, so I have to take the whole tray off to change the battery. It would be way better for me to have it in the grip
