hey befor u ripme a new one listen to wat i have to say.
i have a 2k3 bko. i've had this gun for almost 3 months it has
a14'' cp barrel
a crome cp on off
a crome cp flame drop
32 degrees grips
aka mighty max volumizer
and an eggy 2 with y board.
now heres my beef. i haven't been able to get this gun to work for more than one game since i got it and yes i got it sent straight from icd. i now have to pay shipping charges and possibly charges for parts because i've taken this gun to over 4 different pro shops and they cant seem to find the problem. and yesterday when i called icd for about the 8 time they basically said that they dont believe me. so this is my reason for hopeing sp sews icd untill they have to go out of business. now u may start ripping
plz no personal comments as i did not make any towards you.
thanks much.
and booooooooo icd
p.s. if victor from icd is listening i hope u burn in hell *** hole.
now plz only victor from icd make personal cracks.:pissed:

well maybe if you sat down and actually tried to learn the gun instead of taking it 4 different pro shops because you are to lazy to lean it. Then maybe, just maybe it would work for you. but ya know what, people that make posts bashing a gun in it's respected forum seem to lack the mental capacity to own a gun as nice as a bko.......go buy a tippmann

EDIT> well with that said, what's wrong with your gun anyway? maybe we can help you, thats what these forums are SUPPOSED to be here for. And don't think it's a hopeless cause because someone at a proshop couldn't fix it. Most People at shops don't know a thing about ICD guns, at least thats what i found.

It's okay to be angry and frustrated if your marker isn't working and no one seems to know what the problem is.

That said, I agree with Impya, let's see if we can figure out the problem. Impya and many others on this board are excellent resources for troubleshooting BKO's.

What happens when you gas up your gun, what are you setting your regs at, what happens when you pull the trigger, etc.

Nice......Why don't you drive your *** up to the shop and let a real gun tech look at your marker. (Victor or me) We will even be nice enough to explain to you how the marker works and what you are doing wrong. If it is our fault you will get to see us fix the problem for free.
@ you say stuff about vic and you are saying stuff about me....:eyes:

:)

Let's just try to help this person out with his BKO despite his/her comments.

And I don't think SP people are particularly good seamstresses. :) I could be wrong though.

Cheers

first off i want to say sorry to those of u who ive made mad (except for victors friend). i had no right to come in here and rip up on all the bko owners or fans. secondly i want to say thank you for not ripping me up. that shows you are way more of a man than i was. the reason i said these things was because i was in a really bad mood but that is not an excuse for wat i did.
I will not say sry to victor though, because he treated me like **** on the phone. he made me fell like i was 2 inches tall. and i was not pissy to him like i was to u guys either.

some of u i will comend even more because not only did u hold back on ripping me but u even offered to help thanks.

well heres my prob for those of u who care.
when i opened up my grip to replace the battery (that was my origanal idea of how to fix it) i noticed a wire that only conect to one thing. so i took the frame off as carefully as possibly being sure not to pull it more than an inch away from the rest of the gun so as not to damage any other wires
then i looked at it and noticed that there where 3 wires that only conected to one other piece. 2 wires conected to the box by the sylinoid and one conected to the lights on off switch. and nothing else so i then called victor he told me it was entirely my fault and to just"send it in" .this is when i got all pissed off and stupidly decided to *****a t u guys. tahnks for not being like me and if anyone here cares plz tell me wats up. thanks alot
ben

A couple of thoughts...

If your gun works intermittently, the problem is probably not due to a pulled out wire. Unless, it was loose before and worked its way completely out now, in which case your marker wouldn't work at all now.
I too would have opened the grip first, to change the battery.

BKO's are known for having a sensitive LPR, and that does require lubing and maintenance. However, I would hope that at least one of the 4 shops you took the BKO to would have figured this out. There is a chance, however, that none of the 4 had any experience working on the BKO or its regulators.

If you could explain in a bit more detail what the marker was doing before you took it apart; that might help the rest of us figure it out.

If a wire did become unattached (and I do realize that wires do detach and its not always the fault of the user); well, I would send it back to ICD with a letter explaining the problem.

Regardless of your telephone experience, the fact remains that they're are the best in terms of fixing your marker, period. And if you want the best, that's what you have to do.

Since I was not listening in on your phone conversation, I don't know how badly you were treated, nor do I know how angry you were when you called them, so I am not going to take your side or ICD's side.

Maybe you were angry at spending money on your marker and frustrated it hasn't been working. Maybe you went off on him initially and came off stronger than you recall. Maybe the guy at ICD you spoke to was having a bad day because he had calls before yours with rude people (just think what a crappy job that must be, having to take customer's complaints) and all he heard was "pulled out wire", and went off on you. Maybe he wasn't even the one who was supposed to answer the phone. Again, I don't really know.

When I was looking for a back up gun for my B2K, I chose a BKO. Out of the box, mine had a defective LPR. I was frustrated, but I wrote a letter explaining the problems I was having, and sent it back to ICD. They fixed it, and now it works great. They were very professional to me, but more importantly, I knew they could solve the problem.

I don't know GregICD, but I have seen his posts on many of the paintball forums, and he is always helpful and gives good advice. (I don't often see DYE folks or WGP techs giving out free advice on the autococker sites, for example)

Also, it terms of dealing with people's personalities, consider this. If you needed brain surgery, which surgeon would you choose, the nice one who never kept you waiting and was pleasant but a little clumsy, or the mean grumpy one who was considered to have the best pair of hands?
When you get on an airplane, would you rather have a pilot that knows about the airline's frequent flier program, or one that can safely land the plane if the weather gets rough???

I think that most people on the forum really do want to help. But I'm not sure flaming ICD is the best way to go about getting help, even if you think you were mistreated.

Just my $.02

Send me an email. If you are comfortable with soldering I can give you a diagram on how the wires should be.

There are two people who do repairs at ICD, Victor and Greg. You can guess which one I am.

Hey back off you two!!!http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/contrib/constrector/waglleybooty.gifhttp://216.40.249.192/s/cwm/3dlil/mad.gif Most players come from mechanical guns such as spyders and you can bang around a spyder and not much will happen! he was probably not use to having delicate electronic internals.
