ok i made my c2k rear cockin and now i cant use my sight rail.
anyone else have these probs? can u help?

You can't use your site rail, because that little black piece before in the upper tube was threaded, that's how the site rail could be kept there. The site rail hole is not threaded on the Compact 2000 models (At least it doesn't seem like it for you or I :)), so the only options I can think of is to get rid of the rear cocking bolt setup. If not, get a tap at Home Depot, or some place like that. I'm not sure exactly what kind of threads you should tap the hole for, but try tapping the hole for 10-32 threads. Then buy a new screw (Has to be short, so that it doesn't get in the way of removing the bolt) and stick it in. :)

yea i was thinkin of that. or i could drill that black plug out so i could put a thin autococker rod thrugh it. and i wont drill so big that i hit the threads. but first im gunna try and tap the body itself. thaknx.
