My gun came with a Teardrop Barrel?

My Impulse #5188 came new with a Teardrop barrel. :) I ordered it from www.xpaintball.com. Does anyone have any Idea why, or did anyone else's gun come with a Teardrop barrel?

A couple of months ago, Smart Parts had a shortage of Progressive barrels. they subituted tear drops instead at no aditional charge. The Progressive and teardrop are the same barrel except for the drilling of the ports. (both are very good.)

As we were getting guns in the 5000s a couple of months ago, this would be why you got a teardrop.
