Shoudl I get an ELCD for my comp2k or just save my money?

well The SPyder Cup rules state that electronic grip frames are not allowed, so i would just save your money. Besides, would you REALLy get a 240 dollar grip frame..for a 90 dollar gun? i would'nt. If you are planning to go to hte Spyder Cup, then i would just save your money and get other things for your gun.

this thread? i'm gonna keep it up cuz other people might be interested in the ELCD, and want to go to the spyder cup. It's useful info. I only close threads that are pointless to this forum or flames.

I've heard alloooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of stuff about E-LCD for spyders. One of my friends has it, and he loves it. He runs his spyder LP and has a revvie loader. My other friend has it, and he wishes he never bought it. He says it turned his marker into a blender.... So I guess it all depends on how you set up your marker.

The way I look at is, the E-LCD frame is about $230, your gun is about 150, or if you have a Shutter it's 200 something. So it's $350-$400 minimum. Why not just get a cocker 2k?

The ELCD is actually pretty cool. You can get them for around $200 now and the advantages are much more than just being able to fire full auto. Also the new aluminum anodized grip panels were released at the MGO... looks really cool.

i still think it would be smarter to save that 200 and invest it into other parts like the barrel and low pressure, stuff like that...but if you have 200 bucks to spend, by all means get it! :D

I heard they really tear up your guns, most blow backs arent made for the kinda wear e-guns get. But to that, i say HA i want an e-gun. Yall think it would work on my Piranha

But with electros you seem to get lazier and lazier. O wow, click the button and it pelts the dude with 15 paintballs. That just took a chunk out of your wallet..thats all. I like the feel of using a low end semi. Not that im saying anything bad about electros or super semis.:D

but, Im tryin to say when my gun needs nothing to it anymore, im probably gonna get, if I dont like it ill take it off

And waste 200 bucks for nothing... I still think people should save up and get a high end semi

I KNOW, I will probably get one of those but I want to trick out my spyder first I love that gun

But think about tricking out your cocker when you get it instead of your ELCD :D

lol that's what i've been telling people..I was thinking about getting the Centerflag Hyper grip frme, but i decided to save that money and get a COcker instead..there's more potential in the cocker than there is in my current gun, so i wanna invest in that now...

the spyder cup is a tournament consisting of spyders. the format is 5 player team. It's a tournament that's held by Kingman USA (maker of hte spyder, and teams compete. The grand prize is 5 cars...its a fairly large tournament...my team was gonna compete in it but we broke up...:(

Only problem with it, is that teams of guys who decided to get together for a friendly tourney, go against high ranked amateur teams (KAPP factory team won last year), so it might discourage people towards tourney play to get smacked around by guys who've been running drills and practices for longer than alot of the new guys have even played paintball.

i got an electric frame and my friend with his highly modifyed cocker is allways wanting to play with my electric spyder. I dont think ill ever own a cocker, simply because im to dumb and impatient to learn how to time, clean and service my gun. Lucky for me, i own a spyder.

spyders do rule man, but i wish i would have just gotten a akalmp body kit. It is so much better if you have enough money to get every thing right at the beginning. I think im still going to buy a new body just so i can get it milled and anodized and then i will have a truely custom blow back.
