after much deliberation, i might get a shocker as my new gun. I know a few members have these and i wanted to know what do you think of them.
If i were to get one here is the set up:
-2001 Shocker Turbo V-sport with double trigger
-4500psi 88ci N2 max flo with sp drop forward
- Gadget grip ano'd to match
- This anodizing pattern (heres the body sample)

The whole thing comes to 1400 something, so what do you think?

Second one is pretty cool. I would still go for the frew flow instead.

Well if you gotta go shocker, might as well get a cool ano job :) Nah, the shocker is pretty nice, not my favorite but good choice. Back on topic though, I like the first ano pattern myself, pictureing a whole gun like that, I think it'd look great.

Bad choice IMHO it is a gas hog and does have a lot of problems, including 2 selinoids (bad move by smart parts) Why arent you getting an angel anymore?

I have it and i've shot both vert and reg, and there was a minor but noticable differance in speed of loading! if i were u, i would get a dream shocker from http://www.smartpartseurope.co.uk . they have a great selection of shockers and ano jobs too! go check it out, but you might need a calculator to figure out the prices, because all UK stuff is in pounds, which, i think is a ratio of 1:1.5 or one dollar is 1.5 english pounds. and yes, i have a 20 oz. tank, and i ususlly get about 1000 to 1200 (if i'm lucky!) shots on it.

One of my team mates just got a Shocker, and another good friend traded in his angel for an eclipse shocker. ITs Awesome.

Are thinking about the maxflow with on/off and rail mount?
If you don't want that, I'd recommend getting the maxflow put in front of the trigger frame instead of the gadget grip. It reduces the height profile, and there's less of a chance of you landing on it.

Here I have a pic of the setup on an Eclipse version.

That's a real nice setup on a shocker, surprised to see any gun wihtout a drop forward these days, but that's real nice lookin

Yeah most people do have drop forwards, but it depends on who's shooting the gun.

My teammate is 6'2" and he has pretty long arms, so this setup is perfect for him. He runs it off a 3000psi 68 Pure Energy. He loves it.

I hate d/f I never have and never will use a drop, I shoulder my guns too much for them
