Good Places to Paintball in North GA?

im wondering if there is any good places in north GA to pb like 1-2 hours away from woodstock canton area

ever been down to arkenstone paintball in acworth? they are pretty cool. fields are nice and well kept. fpo is a little high 100 bux for marbs. and nitro is 10 bux for the whole day.

ive played at paintball atlanta a couple times and wasnt impressed with it. their fpo is not that good IMHO and at 100 bux its a rip off. i forgot who made it but its the purple and white shell with white fill. their fields are ok but seem to need some up keep to bring back the way it was in the past. their is a field on the other side of interstate (ga 400) from ga pb and its called northgeorgia paintball. guy who use to play on one of the pro teams a long time ago from atlanta owns it. sounds pretty good and they have a web page at N GA PB (http://www.northgeorgiapaintball.com) . their is another one located off 85 and 16 in senoia called fat city (http://www.fatcityonline.com/paint%20and%20directions.htm) the link is for directions and cost. these guys look like they are pretty good and would make for a great day of fun and learning. ill be at arkenstone saturday hope to see ya round.

yea I went today, the rain held off so it was nice little humid. I have a black magic black cocker. they have woods, speedball and a dirt mounds field. I try to go every weekend as does my wife. have not played any tourneys since I just got back into paintball. I use to play back in 89-91 and played a couple with the local team. no I have not played a scenario game but would love to play in one. their is one coming up at A1 paintball in reseca ga, I visited their field and was not impressed. they have a lot of work to do before they can host a scenario game of the size they are saying will be there(maybe 200+ peeps). we had about 30-40 people there Saturday, that's about normal, when we get that high if their isn't a group like a church involved they will split up high and low tech guns. check with Georgia paintball, arkenstone has a paintball tourney coming up with #1 prize being 5 impulses. I think the fee is 350 for 5 man though. if everything goes as planned I should be there about 9:30am next Saturday.

yeah, atl paintball, im friends with the owner, we go there alot. The speedball field is a bit hard. We have been going to extreme piantball in madison county near athens. I cant wait until that Wild Bills opens up. Supposed to be in lawrenceville ga, store to open the first of oct. and the fields like 2 weeks later....we have our own field also.

yeah, i emailed them twice, but havent recieved anything in the mail. I cant wait till it opens. Im looking forward to the indoor field, ( it think they have one), so I can laugh when it rains, cause its not causing me to miss paintball.

what do you mean miss paintball when it rains. wuss. :P just joking. i actually enjoyed playing in the rain the few times this summer. not too bad just loud as heck with the barrels taped up. only thing is get rid of the richocet hopper if it rains it dies. had to send one back already but they replaced it no problems at all.

We played wildfire once and were not impressed. There was nothing that I can really remember to brag about but several things that dissapointed. In all fairness, it was awhile ago but I haven't heard that anything has changed. Anyhow, I swore I would never go back and thought it may be of some use.

in apg they have articals all the time about scerino games and they sound cool they are mostly in ga and co ive never played one but it sounds cool:)

What about Conyers paintball? Are they still around? I was there once and it wasn't too bad, give them a call if you can. They're easy to get to and right near town.

dude your in georgia, the whole states a national park! the woods there are great for pballing and i would kill for them. im stuck in miami and all around me for a 1000 mile radius is nothing but concrete. all the forests were blown down in andrew and anything remaining has an alligator in it. its sucky because i like woods the most and while we gotta few fields within 20 minutes of us they all suck and have no woods. also the woods are so big in there im pretty sure you could find a nice meadow with little critters who frolic in the dew drop plants and put a nice speedball court in there with branches.

Well, here in Georgia, once outside of Atlanta, with a few exceptions, there's just no good places to play. And they don't seem to appreciate it when we go shooting up the national forests! Yeah, there's a lot of other woods but I'm a big advocate against playin renegade ball (not safe among other bad things), and there's just a general lack of paintballers and fields.
Guess the grass is always greener somewqhere else.

why not? as long as you wear a mask and have a good safety zone located around 100 feet or through dense brushes is just as safe as a field. paintball started as renegade ball after all. also ya they may not, but there is no way in hell they could ever track you down. after George Whiskey Bush cut the funding i doubt there are 50 rangers for the whole state.

That's just it though, in my experience most back yard ballers don't bother with safety, and getting a group of serious players together who all have gear and understand proper safety is rare at best! I've just had too many bad experiences trying to play with friends outside of organized fields. You see a lot of scarry stuff. I know, that's exactly how my close friends and I started playing, we were just lucky.
And as for them tracking us down...yeah, they'd have no clue, but this is the kind of thing that leads to a negative image of paintballers. You know, "Them punk kids with them-thar' paint guns."
But I'm with you, it would be a blast to get out in some of these big pine forests and have a scenario game!:badboy:

yeah i have been playing backyard ball in our neighborhood and it is gettting *** because i have to buy the paint and air and no one pays me back. and where we play is semi- dense woods where i cant really see that well and somone i played with already got hurt cause he tripped three times:laugh: i always get pissed because the people i play with take off their masks when im behind them so i have to give away my position to tell them to put their damn mask back on. :mad: so i want to go to arkenstone pb and have an organized game for once plus i wanna play with an inpy:rolleyes:

hey woods or any one else have you gotten any feedback from Wild Bills. i havent. i want my free field pass ..i couldnt go to arkenstone last weekend but i will go this weekend because i am to the point where i dont care if my friends go or not:o i want to use an impy...hehe:D
