what are the differences between these two, anything besides the feed? cuz i heard they have different grip frames, but i wanna know from someone who has actually seen these two side by side, or as good as.

Yes, they have different frames as well. The vert feed has the same .45 frame used on the STO, it's really a nice frame, but some will say they crack and don't like the light feel of the carbon fiber. I have not seen them crack, as for the feel that's preference. There used to be a thread titled "hey SPEED" that went into the advantages of vert feed. Do a search, or if it no longer exists then let us know and we'll go into further detail.

and you can get a vert feed cocker for about the same price of a standard feed cocker over at www.firstcallpaintball.com and www.acepaintball.com both are selling them for $340

yea!

for some funny reason the price on Vert feed WGP cockers are dropping like mad! I guess it's because it's the end of the year, time to make room for the 2k2 model

No elbows, centered feel of the gun, faster feeding, looks cooler.

Thats why =P.

i'd say the biggest thing is the centered feel. snap shooting right handed or left handed will be the same.

its more a matter of preferance. The "increased feed speed" of a vert feed cocker isnt going to make that big of a differance since most of you wont be able to shoot fast enough to make a differance.

My next body, (was thinking of the twister bodies at bostonpaintball.com) will be vertical, just for the slimmer profile.

The biggest advantage of Vert feed over the standard right feed is the profile. Vert feed gun give you a much smaller profile, making it harder for the other team to hit you. They do have a slightly faster feed rate but it's not a real big difference. tall vert feed ports also have the ability to stack more paint in the feed port. Helps to lessen the chances of breaking paint.

For the low price the vert feeds are going fo now, its totally worth it, cant go wrong with one.

at paintballgeeks.com you can get a side feed for 316 and a vert feed for only 340 or something. i would spend the money for the vert feed. it balances the gun better and saves you from elbows. also notice that nicer cockers have vert feeds. say something? they are the same but the vert is for those who want the pro look.
