How much is too much?

This is mainly to the Mods, but its also to other members too.

I've been noticing that more and more leniency toward questionable stuff that is put on this website. (eg. Almost-Porn, Bikini photos, and certain swear-words.) I was just wondering where the line is drawn.
My opinion is that it should be drawn before its questionable whether or not the material should be allowed on the site.
One Idea is to set up a Three Strike Rule for the lesser breaking of the rules, and continue the instant banning for those who post porn or bypass the swear filter.
I realize that certain words like Hell and God and possibly Damn cannot be removed from the vocabulary here because of their value in religious discussions, but I see people using the name God or Jesus Christ as a curse and I think there should be SOME kind of punishment for repeat offenders. Maybe a warning the first time, and if they continue, they get a strike added to their name.

You raise some good points Rock Bottom. We do ban people instantly for posting porn or anything similar, and we do have a three strikes system in place for minor offenses like swearing, flaming, or spamming.

The religious words are a bit of a touchy subject. We go after people who abuse those words just as equally as anyone who says any other swear word, no more, and no less. If someone is being blatantly disrespectful about religion, (every once in a while we get a member who goes overboard) they are banned, just like any other extreme flamer. :)

You know what just hit me? This forum is like a Mod's paradise. Only (most of the time) 1 or two people in the forum, and most of the time other mods.

ANyway, on to the point.

I don't think Jesus Christ used in vain should be a strikable offense.

I mean, in a sense, its only a swear word if you believe in God, if your an Agnostic or Athiest its just a way to vent anger.

so I think if I'm mad I should be able to use it that way

I think that if you visit this forum than you are a paintballer, and if your a paintballer you've prolly been to a field, and if you've been to a field, you prolly wont learn any new words on here..... I think the language usage is fine, but othere things are to leniant

the language is fine as long as you dont go overboard which a lot of people would but if you dont hear it here youre going to at school, work, tv almost anywhere. its somewhat common with these 'new age' teens
