first tourney

we went to pevs august 10th tourney and we played 14& under and we got 3rd it was all our first tourney!!!

i was observing the tourney (mainly field 1) from about 2-5. the big thing i noticed, was some teams were hitting 2 at the lay down. that kinda confused me, because they got royally screwed on the angles until one of them hit the 50.

not many people sweet spotted it seemed like. saw one team do it, and they did it well. their mid man was walking till he got to the lay down. very impressive.

all in all, it seemed like a fun tourney, wished i coulda played in it though =(. but for field 1, the best way to go seemed like corners and 1 lay down. or 1 corner, 1 lay down, 1 50. apparently, one of the corners really sucked on the far side (side opposite of the middle dead zone between the fields). that's all i really have to comment about it.

u prally saw us play, field 2 was my favorite tho. ther was a game where i was at the 50 and a guy went to the dorrito and he didnt no where i was and he was starein at me for a good second then i shot him lol

that team u saw might of been us. what jersies were they wearing?

can't remember, but all i know is that they were the only team i saw at field 1 that actually laned. and did a damn good job of it.

Sorry...can't remember any pointers at this point...my memory's slipping at the ripe old age of 27. I think we played your team seek and destroy...you were Macho Barachos right? We were the team that you guys got stuck forfeiting to in the last game because your guy hung the flag with a hit. I hate to get points like that but I'm not too proud to take em either. :goody: I personally would have like to played you guys on one of the Sup Air fields as I thought field 4 wasn't set up for our kind of game. I really liked Fields 1 and 4. Field two was a bit small for me and Field 4 was too big for 3 man. Not a quality field at all. :eyes:

I was the guy that managed to shoot my own teammate that day! :-) The same guy that went from eagle to mid to front before getting tagged out in that little firefight towards the end. Whatever paint you were using welted like hell. You guys had at least 4 bounces before you got a break. Actually you guys gave me the only welts I had all day. Ironically in the last game. I was personally disappointed in that field...it's set up to play for a stalemate.

im not in macho barracchos =(. i might be starting from oct., but for now im not. i was just observing. i was wearing a light blue shirt...on the side of field 1.
